I’m really pleased to say that I’ve had no issue booking an appointment for my Shingrix Shingles vaccine with my GP. Massive step forward for those of us who have had a stem cell transplant. @AnthonyNolan – at Birmingham, England

Really pleased to see that the @UKHSA Green Book guidance for Shingles has now been updated to include the eligibility criteria for stem cell transplant recipients aged 18+ to receive the SHINGRIX vaccine. A massive breakthrough! Thanks to @AnthonyNolan et al for working on this.

Foolishly or not, I’ve signed myself up to do an Abseil in support of the wonderful @AplasticAnaemia Trust in August! This is a really big achievement for me, particularly after a difficult recovery post-transplant. Very grateful for any donations ❤️ theaat.org.uk/sams-abseil
