X Attack means I don’t have a sacrifice move coverage for a boosting move, and I can spam them to infinity. This makes so many pokemon broken in a game that was already easy enough. Not to mention if I have 99 revives, there’s now 0 tension in the battle.

I forgot a good chunk of Pokemon discourse can be explained by the fact that modern Pokemon fans genuinely think it's cheating/cheese to *use items* in an RPG game

HGSS is the exception because of the level curve, but every other pokemon game gives you enough exp that you shouldn’t need to item spam boss fights to win that often

Twitters ability to just say random shit as if it’s a fact without anything to back it up is incredible. I’ve seen mostly praise for the Switch 2 from Nintendo fans that bought it. In fact, numerous people bought one after Sony did what they did.
