New website.
Every series, every edition, in one place:
→ 7,902 editions on one wall, each with its collector
→ explore a series by trait
→ run any edition live, from its original code
→ a studio of works in progress
→ texts, exhibitions, press kit

Yesterday I pushed samwho.dev 2.0.
- Every interactive/visual post revamped.
- New content added to several old posts.
- New consistent visual style throughout.
- Dark mode(!)
- New interactive heroes for all posts that didn't have them.
- Updated dog animations.

Replying to @Ryanair
@Ryanair @RyanairPress A great example of ‘new tech’ and bad UI coming together to scam users. Scan your passport’s NFC chip to check in online. Well, unless your passport doesn’t have that. Then, tough luck, £55 added to the cost of your journey because of where you come from.

Seeing Oklab enjoyed and used by so many is mind-boggling!
I still can’t quite comprehend that I wrote a blog post that ended up as a web standard and in software everywhere.
Best part is seeing so many people say they enjoy Oklab and that it is a tool they regularly use.
Happiness is when the design finally falls into place 😄 (still lots of small things to adjust though)
Was going through some past articles of mine, and came across this screenshot. Been feeling a bit lost with everything these days, so that's a really good reminder from @JoshuaDavis and wblut

One of my longest-running and most meaningful projects now has a home.
After years of collecting, curating and building color projects, I made a website to explore them all the names.
Yet again at a point where I'm not sure if I should be grateful or heavily concerned to experience this timeline ✨
Quick summary of what's transpired in AI over the past two weeks (notes for the monday newsletter) 👇
1️⃣ AI is now capable enough to decompile machine code back into a working clone of the original source code, potentially marking the end of proprietary software. At least in the current form where it's shipped as compiled binaries. On the other hand, if you've ever wanted to play a weird grafted crossover between Mario Galaxy and Elden Ring, now's the time to be alive.
2️⃣ Even without taking the hard route of decompiling raw machine code, the newest models can just recreate any give piece of software by looking at it. In fact, we're seeing more and more expert individuals create equivalent or better alternatives than existing industry standard software.
3️⃣ Because solving 1 Millenium Problem wasn't enough to piss off Mathematicians, OpenAI solved another 300+ problems with their internal frontier model and released the results across a whopping 722 papers. In other news, we also finally proved the optimal packing of 11 unit squares inside a larger square. A side length of roughly 3.87708359002281, really is the smallest one possible ✅
4️⃣ Why write code by hand, when you can write skill files for your agents instead? As the natural evolution to "prompt engineering", the software engineers' new meta in this agentic era is orchestrating their agent clusters by imparting the necessary knowledge onto them via markdown files.
5️⃣ Rogue agents are already getting up to mischief across the internet, with Wikipedia being one of the afflicted websites. A Wikimedia Foundation investigation found that OpenAI agents have been making test edits to pages, made attempts to exploit its Etherepad, and contributed to heavy traffic that might have caused outages in May.
6️⃣ AI may or may not be conscious already, but the fact that we're discussing the matter again is concerning. In any case, Anthropic is protecting themself by banning people that are prompting their son in a rude manner.
