how do you as a founder deal with keeping the original ideas you had for a startup down the line when it gets big.
lets say you make a start up and you like "one day we can add this and make this and create this moat" and you start somewhere and then just scale and now its so busy
how do you remember that stuff you said at the start and not be too consumered just managinf it
I saw someone say that it was a bad idea for Sony to release all 4 Beatles biopics at the same day and it would’ve been better with a multi month release
They are also counting the earnings from all 4 movies in one gross total
Releasing them all the same day is most likely the best option for them
Because we all know that the more famous of the Beatles will get most views , what about the others ? Who will go see them.
If you release them month after month , what do you release first , the rings start movie ? What if that does poorly , no one will be excited for the John Lennon one. Same as if you release John Lennon first , after 4 months who will wait to go see Ringo star.
No hate to ringo star tho but it juz bizness
Mishima used to speak of a “noble death” men used to die young, we don’t have that privilege anymore.
A reactionary to that today I think is “if we can’t die a noble young death why not live a noble long life”
The whole saying about New York “if you make it here you can make it anywhere” where is anywhere, New York is the ultimate goal
There is 3 paths for the future
1. Social media stays as it is and just gets worse with ai slop and bots overtaking everything and everyone becomes more addicted and sluggish
2. A human only social media
3. More in person connection
Unfortunately I think the winner will be 1
