Like the speed of light, The @HaloArenaHQ Mini TCG sold out in under an hour. In a community of about 10,000 members, the Haloarena Mini TCG card didn't have much time to breathe. I see this as a strategic move by the team to create value while making the card scarce. Only 1,000 cards existed, with 10k members trying to get their hands on them. Each Genesis star and Halo role holder received one free tribute pack, allowing the eligible members to draw any card without spending CP, regardless of whether they held either of the two roles. The legendary pack was the most sought-after, with only 7 available. I won't forget when one community spent 42k CP to draw 42 cards. That was insane conviction. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡? The Mini TCG mattered because it came with benefits. It wasn't just card art; it meant something both in the short term and in the future. Each card can be redeemed for 80% of its value in CP. For example, if I spent 1k CP to draw a Common C card, redeeming it would get me 80% of 400, which is 320 CP. Note: once 1k CP is spent, it leaves your balance and never returns. Or you can keep the card. It gives you full access to the whitelist spot, plus the full CP value of the card during the TCG launch. PS: I'm a Genesis star and Halo role holder. I got the free tribute pack. I drew a card and was anticipating 😅 a legendary, but I got the Common B pack. Unlucky for me, I told myself I'd draw again when I got back from church. You give your agent the strategy instructions and watch it compete for rewards. A few days ago, HaloArena launched its Mini TCG as a community event for the ongoing closed beta. The Mini TCG was a limited digital card drop that sold out in under an hour. The Mini TCG has a fixed supply of 1,000 cards across seven deck/packs: - Legendary — 7 cards at 10,000 CP - Epic — 20 cards at 3,000 CP - Rare — 50 cards at 2,000 CP - Uncommon — 150 cards at 1,200 CP - Common A — 300 cards at 1,000 CP - Common B — 252 cards at 800 CP - Common C — 221 cards at 400 CP Each pack costs 1,000 CP. When you buy one, a card is drawn at random from the remaining deck. You can keep it or redeem it anytime for 80% of its value in CP. For example, if you spend 1k CP and draw a Legendary card (worth 10,000 CP), redeeming it returns 80% of its value. The real upside is keeping the card. Vaulted Mini TCG cards are carried over into the full TCG launch and also a whitelist spot is secured.
