Centrists treat left-wing energy as electorally toxic while, conveniently, forgetting who has been steering the ship into the iceberg since the 90s

THIS is the true difference between the moderates and the left. See how moderates weaponize identity to deflect from criticism, progressives don’t do this cause they’re focused on issues/policies.

Another example
Just say y’all don’t want a Jewish man and a Black man leading Congress together.

Yet another of so so many examples
There’s zero chance Democrats will defenestrate the would-be first Black speaker and commit coalition suicide after their largest victory in a generation. Let’s all gain some perspective and settle down.

liberals are so funny, they genuinely think you are supposed to deep throat every democrat that gets elected instead of continuing to pressure them into actually doing their job in office

Centrists are trying to claim Talarico’s victory as one of their own when his platform is rooted in left-wing economic populism. Leftists were among his biggest supporters during the primary. Apparently, universal healthcare, taking on oligarchs, and putting working people ahead of corporate interests are now considered centrist positions. 😂 what’s the difference between this and what Abdul ran on? Bc he said Medicare for all instead of healthcare for all? Lol
.@JamesTalarico: We have a mandate the size of Texas now. We’ve got to get big money out of our politics so no trillionaire can buy an election, unrig this economic system that only benefits the top 1%, pass universal healthcare so that no one goes bankrupt just because they get sick, invest in our teachers and our students so every underdog has a fighting chance, and end these corrupt forever wars that are driving up prices. This shouldn’t be just Democrats. This should be Democrats and Republicans and the president coming together to make this change.

I have a plan to get Medicare for All passed. 1. Pass in House and Senate 2. Send Abdul to the Oval Office to meet with Trump 3. Trump examines his body and his ass and his biceps and falls completely in love with him 4. Abdul tells Trump if he signs the bill we can call it Trumpcare. Like Obamacare but better and he can take the credit for it. Statues built in his honor 5. Trump says okeyy Abdool I’ll do it hehe

If moderates moved to the progressive stance, that means the progressives won, and progressivism gets the credit. Thats why this discourse is so stupid, because moderate fanbois are pretending this didn’t happen
I think the big breakthrough of last night is that both progressives and moderate Dems are now vocally anti-billionaire, anti-AI, and reject AIPAC $

This orchestra leader highlighted Haley Stevens for Michigan and Janet Mills for Maine, so maybe it's time for a new leader.
Schumer: What I do as the leader is I'm the orchestra leader. I am not the best bassoonist. I highlight that person. I am not the great virtuoso singer. I highlight that person.

Abdul El-Sayed won on Medicare for All. Troy Jackson won on Medicare for All. James Talarico supported a public option he labeled "Medicare for Y'all." Everyone in the party should back healthcare for all. It wins everywhere and more importantly it is the right thing to do.

-Jefferies endorsed 5 candidates in the midterms, 2 won. -Chuck Schumer endorsed 2 (Janet Mills, Haley Stevens) both lost, one nuked her career on camera.
Chuck Schumer will be the Majority Leader. Hakeem Jeffries will be Speaker of the House. Anyone crying about this is not a serious person. Both men did a phenomenal job recruiting candidates, supporting them, and ultimately delivering one of the best midterms wins ever.

Letting Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and Nancy Pelosi back in charge is like signing up for Trump 3.0. These three are famous for being Israel first, corporate bought, and insider trading. Which is why we got what we got in 2024.

The American people spoke loudly and clearly on Tuesday. The new Democratic majority cannot continue the same old, same old establishment policies. Working families want change, REAL change, and that’s what Democrats must deliver.

Have you ever worked on a winning election? Or an election in general since you failed the nation in 2016 & couldn’t find the rust belt on a map? Truly the most useless voice in the Democratic Party who’s a shill for the donors dumb enough to pay attention to a washed up has been (if she ever even was)
What happened with Osborn? We all just memory holing that race now?

Hayes on Medicare for All: "The odds of Donald Trump signing that into law, pretty small--" Sen. Sanders: "Hold it, hold it, hold it... Our job is to produce it. He wants to veto it, Republicans want to sustain that veto, that is their responsibility, the American people will see it."

“They’re going to sound like Bernie in 2015” is the way to go here. He had an economic populism w heterodox cultural views (guns and immigration) tested by decades of elections. The Early Woke Dems beat him with a more identity-focused campaign that turned out to be a generational disaster. And Bernie moved left on identity stuff in 2020 to win fewer votes.
Every single Democrat is not going to sound like Bernie two years from now

Notice that Abdul Sayed and Gina Hinojosa are both saying the same thing.
Hinojosa: I say that the left right paradigm just does not meet the moment of our time. What this is about is about 99.9% of us in the same boat against like 15 billionaire tech guys who are controlling government…

To those in Congress, it’s time to act. Raise the minimum wage. End the pointless war in Iran. Provide universal healthcare and childcare. Pass comprehensive immigration reform. Implement sensible AI guardrails. Codify abortion rights into law.
