The push for plastic bottles to have "100% recycled" lables on them is not important. What's important is the content and quality of content.
What are you using to recycle the plastic bottles? When you recycle the plastic bottles are you using renewable energy?
All I care about as a consumer is if the contents are poisonous to me or not. My aim is that I don't retire as a half human half plastic hybrid with cancer and jitters all for the sake of preserving an underwater rock formation.
How much does a person have to be taking for granted to think being told to have a power bank, some tinned food and a first aid kit is reason to be afraid.
The UK govt might as well be telling people to wear nappies incase they shit themselves at this point.
If you are prepped for bad weather power outages, losing your job, changing your job, having extra mouths to feed or indeed war, it actually gives you more security and less to worry about, bringing down your anxiety.

Keep a population in a permanent state of fear and confusion, and they’ll accept and believe anything they’re told.

The EU might ban meaty names on crisps that don’t actually contain meat. So here’s the new legally safe menu:
Beef → MSG-Soaked Mystery Umami Powder with Extra Salt
Smoky Bacon → Stripy Breakfast Charcoal Dream with a Side of Monosodium Glutamate
Flame Grilled Steak → Charred Grill Fantasy Rectangle with Artificial Flavour Blast
Roast Chicken → Herby Sunday Lunch Air Fortified with E621
Sounds yummy!
It's really funny because originally they all said no so hard it was like they were trying to prove a point. It's almost like they realised that the UK is the second largest economy in Europe and need the UK and that the EU is failing without the UK because Germany can't do it alone and Brussels are useless.
If the UK was to go back, then it should be on the terms that we have more of a say and get taken more seriously, but also that we don't get restricted by the single market limitations or taken advantage of by the freedom of movement act (or at least the EU should contribute massively into language courses for UK citizens wanting to work in Europe).
The question Britain is faced with is should we help the EU while it's a dumpster fire spectacle or should we demand the EU get a grip of itself like it can and should.
Seems like a lot of people genuinely don't understand practical uses of suction and thrust on cars.
But for a long time car design has been increasingly made with aerodynamical engineering to keep them on the road, resulting in them being largely the same shape. But this technology is only any good if vehicles are travelling at higher speeds which is redundant in today's day and age because congestion and speed limits make these design difficult to benefit from. They also don't do anything at all on icy roads or through heavy rain. Suction and thrust is the beginning of this problem being solved, because there's potential to keep the vehicle on the surface and where it needs to be at slower speeds, over difficult terrain and through adverse weather.
Even if we do not see vertical u bends and landing pads or horizontal and vertical roads in our time, the suction and thrust is extremely more practical than aerodynamics.
However, there's potential for more complex roads because of the technology. And this will solve access problems via roads as this tech becomes more common.
Maybe not all vehicles will be able to take the same roads, but that's fine, because that's the case as it is today. A steam engine doesn't make any use of 8° tilts on tracks, HGVs can't all squeeze down country lanes, tractors don't get the most out of motorways. So there should never be an argument that roads cannot go upsidedown later on.
Other practical uses for this tech, I mean it's not uncommon in a car on the road to get air time over bumps and down hills, so the ability to land is as welcome as airbags even if just as a precaution that never gets used, just like it's nice to have aerodynamic form in case roads become clear.
As for bouncing and jumping, people have wanted suspension on lowriders to do the same thing, it's fun. It's fun and they included it in computer games. If I had the new Tesla roadster flying muscle tank, of course I would want to jump in and out of lanes and on the spot. Fun is a nice and exciting faculty of life. It is completely practical to want to have fun.
Have I still got time?

I'm gonna do it. I was stood in the cathedral today looking at the earth and telling myself to do it like it was prophetic of getting myself where I need to be. It just feels so important like today's most spiritual miracle of the modern day. It's either I do that or wait for a flying muscle tank to whizz by the window to signal I've wasted my opportunity to live and love again. It's been on my mind since egg is egg news covered a launch. I wouldn't have thought it was real without those live streams you did. That was buzzing!
Yeah I'm gonna go.
Elon for World Dad!
Elon Musk is one of the most pro-family dads out there and he backs it up with both his words and his life.
He’s the father of 14 kids and has been open about how much they mean to him. He has said kids “by far make me the happiest” of anything in his life, and that he spends every moment he can with them (people who know him often see him with his kids).
He frequently brings them along, especially his son X. to work, events, launches, and even high-profile meetings so he can maximize time with them while still building the future.

Millions of dead Slavs, africans most affected
The war in tormented Ukraine continues to cause suffering far beyond its borders, especially in the poorest countries, where so many people depend on grain imports. I make a heartfelt appeal to the parties to the conflict to allow for the safe transport of grain through the Black Sea. The daily bread of millions of people cannot be held hostage by the war.
I am liking this feature on X, now I can listen to the eggball
