Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening! We have a bit of an announcement to share. G.rev has been involved in the development of “Ninja baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded,” which is set to be released by City Connection on December 10, 2026! city-connection.co.jp/league… Our main responsibilities on the project have been programming the base game and handling sound production. On the other hand, City Connection has been in charge of the overall planning, programming the menus and mini-games, and the final parameter adjustments. That last part is especially important, since those final tweaks can have a huge impact on how the game actually feels to play. If the finished game is as fun as we think it is, a lot of that is thanks to the hard work of the City Connection team! The new 2D-HD artwork was created by the team at Irem, the original rights holder of League-Man! They’ve done a fantastic job of capturing the look and feel of the original while adding plenty of new details, including additional animations and new characters. We have a lot of respect for what they’ve created! This project really came together through the strengths of all three companies, and the result of that hard work is “Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded”. We’ve tried to preserve what made the original arcade game special while updating and refining it for modern audiences. The move to a 16:9 screen gives the stages more room to breathe, and we think the result is a version of League-Man that still feels great to play even now. If you’re a fan of the original arcade game, or just love the side-scrolling beat ’em ups of the ’90s, we hope you’ll check it out! Maruyama Team Manager, G.rev
