BREAKING: HOLY SMOKES! Democrats now control enough states to effectively abolish the Electoral College through the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
Republicans did NOT have this on their bingo cards...
Under the Constitution, states control their electoral votes and are allowed to decide how they are allocated during presidential elections. Currently, almost every state gives its votes to whoever wins the state.
In practice, the current system means that a candidate can win the national popular vote, but lose the election because small states like Wyoming exert undue influence on the outcome. That state has 3 electoral votes with a population of just 577,000 people. California has 54 electoral votes and a population of 39.5 million people. So a vote in Wyoming is essentially 3.8 times as valuable as one in California.
Since 1992, Democrats have won the popular vote seven out of nine times.
Under the NPV, states that join agree to give their electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote, not just their own state. So a state could go red on the map, but if the Democrat wins the national vote, they still get that state's votes. And vice versa of course.
The crucial mechanism is that the compact doesn't trigger until the member states have a combined power of at least 270 electoral votes, the number needed to win the White House. So far, 18 states plus D.C. have joined, totaling 222 electoral votes. We only need 48 more.
Now is the chance to pass this measure in every state possible. Democrats won both houses of the legislature in Wisconsin for the first time in 18 years (10 electoral votes). We won the Pennsylvania state Senate for the first time since 1993 (19 votes). We now have a trifecta in Michigan (15 votes). And we won the governor’s race in Nevada (6 votes).
10 + 19 + 15 + 6 = 50.
222 + 50 = 272.
And if we hold our lead in the Arizona Senate, that number could climb as high as 283, more than enough to trigger the compact.
In addition to removing an imbalance in our system that favors Republicans, this novel approach would fundamentally change how candidates run their presidential campaigns. Currently, they are incentivized to ignore most of the country. If you live in a “safe” state, red or blue, your vote for President is basically decided before you cast it. Campaigns spend their time and money in a handful of swing states while the rest of us watch from the sidelines. If the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is adopted, they'll have reason to hit every state because they're aiming to win the largest swath of the country as a whole, not just certain states.
States have until July 20, 2028 to join the compact in time for the next presidential election.
We can fix our democracy. The time is now.

This has been the most rewarding, exhilarating, and exhausting 19 months of my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. None of this is possible without all of you — the people. The people who knocked doors, canvassed, made phone calls, sent texts, volunteered, donated, shared a social media post, spread the word, and voted. This is OUR seat. I’m going to make you proud.
Thank you, Michigan!

Abdul El-Sayed trolling Trump and JD Vance after winning Michigan’s Senate race:
“JD, habibi, there is this delicious irony in the fact that you’re constitutionally obligated to swear me in, in January.”
“Donald, look, I know you struggle with my name, so after JD swears me in, you can just go on and call me Senator.”

What do the US election results mean for Ukraine?
1. Ukraine will gain many new supporters in Congress. Many Democratic lawmakers will replace Trump’s MAGA minions. This could strengthen congressional support for Ukraine and create new opportunities for bipartisan cooperation.
2. Unfortunately, Ukraine will also lose some of its Republican friends. Not every Republican losing a seat is an opponent of Ukraine. Some have been among Ukraine’s strongest supporters, and their departure would be a genuine loss. Representatives Brian Fitzpatrick and Mike Lawler, as well as Senator Susan Collins, will most likely lose their seats. Other pro-Ukraine Republicans may also be leaving Congress.
3. Congress will be able to put much greater pressure on Trump. Democrats will control both chambers of Congress, including legislative agendas, budgets, and investigative committees. Trump will retain significant executive authority, but Congress will be able to challenge his decisions, investigate sanctions relief, and scrutinize restrictions on military assistance to Ukraine.
4. Ukraine could receive substantial new military assistance. Democrats could advance new funding packages for weapons, ammunition, and air defense. With bipartisan Republican support, Congress could pursue longer-term commitments that would make American assistance more predictable. Trump’s veto power and his allegiance to Putin would remain important obstacles.
5. Russia could face much stronger economic sanctions. Congress could pass legislation targeting Russian oil exports, financial institutions, and companies helping Russia circumvent sanctions. Unlike executive orders, statutory sanctions would be more difficult for Trump to reverse unilaterally.
6. Ukraine’s negotiating position could strengthen considerably. This is perhaps the most important strategic implication. Putin’s incentive to prolong the war partly depends on his expectation that American support for Ukraine will weaken. If Congress establishes credible long-term military assistance and sanctions, Moscow would have to reconsider the benefits of waiting.

BIG | 🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️‼️ “WE CANNOT DEFEAT UKRAINE AFTER NEARLY FIVE YEARS, SO HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT ALL OF EUROPE?” Imprisoned Russian nationalist and former separatist commander Igor Girkin, also known as Strelkov, has openly ridiculed Vladimir Putin’s claims about Russia’s readiness for a wider European war.
In a new letter from prison, Girkin questioned how Putin could consider Russia prepared to confront Europe when Moscow has still failed to defeat Ukraine. He pointed to continued strikes on Russian cities, civilian casualties, and the destruction of strategically important industrial facilities. Girkin suggested Putin’s remarks might have been intended to reassure himself and foreign partners, but argued that such statements become particularly troubling when delivered by the Russian president. He described them as outright disinformation.
Girkin’s criticism is particularly striking given his role in Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and his longstanding support for Russian imperial ambitions. His remarks expose a contradiction within Moscow’s own nationalist circles. Despite years of fighting and enormous losses, Russia has failed to achieve its original objectives in Ukraine, yet the Kremlin continues to project confidence about confronting a much larger European coalition.

Rubio sagt jetzt laut, was viele schon länger vermuten.

WHY IS EVERYONE SILENT? BECAUSE HE HAS ALWAYS USED INTIMIDATION AND KNOWS HOW TO SILENCE HIS VICTIMS...
Larissa Portnoff, a New York-based clinical psychologist in her 30s, has publicly accused Donald Trump of sexually exploiting and harassing her when she was a child. She made these allegations in a video that has circulated widely on social media.
In the video, Portnoff states:
“I wanted to share why I cannot be in New York to vote this year… I have been trying to move forward with my life, and I was one of Donald Trump's child victims when I was around eight years old, and it got worse when I was around ten… It continued until I was about twelve, and then it finally stopped. Then I was targeted again when I was sixteen or seventeen.”
She says she initially believed she had managed to escape what she describes as a pedophile ring, but the harassment continued.
She directly accuses Trump of repeatedly exploiting her:
“Donald Trump repeatedly harassed and sexually exploited me… It was very clear that he knew exactly what he was doing.”
She also alleges that, beginning when she was 18, she experienced further inappropriate and abusive conduct involving Trump and people close to him, which she characterizes as sexual exploitation.
Portnoff describes an alleged encounter in September 2025, when she says Trump invited her to a Yankees game. She believes the invitation was another attempt to exploit her.
According to her account, Trump invited her into a private room, warned her to stay away from the media, and made her feel intimidated by indicating that he knew her home address and other personal information. She interpreted this as a threat to her life.
Another significant part of her allegations concerns what she describes as interference with her records and attempts to intimidate her.
Portnoff claims that Trump obtained access to sealed police records involving her, despite having no legitimate connection to those records.
Addressing him directly, she says:
“You tried to destroy evidence in the case after my reports, and you still have not been held accountable for it. You look like a complete coward doing something like this, targeting me and my friends. This needs to stop. It already happened, and there is no way to hide it. I am now in my 30s, and the fact that you have been doing this to me for three decades is inhumane.”
She describes the alleged conduct as “organized crime” and argues that the issue extends far beyond partisan politics.
According to Portnoff:
“This involves very powerful and dangerous individuals, and it intersects with issues of United States national security. We need to stop the corruption. We need to use our voices. We need to remove Donald Trump from office. And if you think you are going to intimidate me, Donald Trump, it is not going to work.”
She also mentions an alleged attempt on her life after she submitted a report:
“Whoever attempted to take my life after my report, you know that I contacted the Senate office. You know they are monitoring me. You know that the Senate Judiciary Committee referred my reports to the Attorney General, and this needs to be investigated.”
Portnoff says the alleged intimidation has intensified in recent years.
“This disgusting behavior has escalated over the past several years, during his second term, beginning just before his second term in office.”
She urges anyone with information relevant to her allegations to contact her office, saying that the information will be kept confidential and protected under HIPAA.
Portnoff describes Trump as dangerous and declares that she will no longer tolerate intimidation from him or his associates.
These are serious allegations made publicly by Portnoff, not established judicial findings. Her account raises questions that deserve careful, independent investigation.
