Final: Warriors 116, Suns 113
GSW came back from down 17 early and held on late. Fifth straight win. Steph Curry didn't let them lose. 34/7/6. Pair of huge defensive plays by De'Anthony Melton in clutch time. Massive Charles Bassey (19p 8r) game after Draymond Green's ejection.

No 38-year-old point guard has ever even averaged 12 PPG in a season.
38-year-old Steph Curry is currently averaging 30.0 PPG (in 28.8 MPG) on 68.8% TS.
He’s been a Top 3 player so far this season. Do not take for granted the absurdity of what he’s doing.

Some news: GSWReddit has rebranded to Boardwalk Buckets.
In an effort to revive this account, Perks (@GSWCBA) will now be providing credentialed Santa Cruz Warriors coverage here along with Golden State Warriors content and general NBA, WNBA, and G League musings.
Stay tuned.
Some news: I will be moving my more boots-on-the-ground Santa Cruz Warriors coverage to @BoardwalkBucket (formerly GSWReddit).
Wanted to get a little separation for those who mostly follow me for CBA insights, and revive the other account while getting more eyes on the G League.

An absolute gift from the great @EricApricot (who is quite literally my childhood hero).
Here’s his video documenting as many media scrums we could all get our hands on after the Valkyries won Game 7 of the WNBA Finals:

Some notes from Valkyries afterparty.
* Nat came to shake my hand after the presser.
Eric: How long will you wait until watching film of the game?
N: TONIGHT
E: what, drunk watching??
N: YES
* Disclaimer: I think Nat was a bit tipsy.

“I wouldn’t be here without Joe [Lacob]. He says, ‘look we’re going to take care of you, we’re going together you all of the resources you want’. Someone who invests in women’s sports, this is the result. That means everything to me.”

At the age your Daddy handed you a front-office job, I was carrying luggage at Winnipeg International Airport.
So yes, analytics guy. I had to be right to get paid. You had to be related.
And had you been hired due to merit rather than nepotism you might have adjusted for market size before posting this.
