just gonna stir this into the Ani Choying Drolma masala:
Since 1985, of the 40 Chairs / Vice Chairs of the Lumbini Development Trust, only 4 have been Buddhists and only 2 have been female - the rest have been Male, Non Buddhist Party affiliated appointments.
How many of them have been investigated?

in May 2000, while working on the sound-track/design for NVA’s seminal work ‘The Path’ nvaorg.uk/artwork/path/ - I was mesmerized and deeply inspired by the sound of the Singing Bowls played by the Nepali musicians Santa Ratna Shakya & Shree Krishna Shahi and the Sublime Voice of @AniChoyingDrol
Later the same year I traveled to Nepal...
To mark the 25th Anniversary of its release, I’ve re-mastered and tuned it to 432Hz.

Shocking!
Balen not even Mentioned!
None the less - a very informative read.
🧵Rappers For Regime Change: How the CIA Recruits Hip Hop Artists Around the World
Through its myriad of agencies, the United States government has recruited and groomed rappers from around the world to further its political interests. Washington has spent tens of millions of dollars funding, training, and promoting artists who foment public discontent, organize protests, and lead color revolutions in nations in its crosshairs.
Seems to me that there would be far more accurate reporting if @wolfie8848 was in charge at Kantipur.
( I had to share a screenshot because I couldn't re-post due to being Blocked by @anilkathmandu )
Important to not let this rather significant detail get lost in the news cycle noise of Balen's Speech.
"I'm a-goin' back out 'fore the rain starts a-fallin'
I'll walk to the depths of the deepest dark forest
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison
And the executioner's face is always well hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten
Where black is the color, and none is the number
And I'll tell and speak it and think it and breathe it
And reflect from the mountain so all souls can see it
And I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin'
But I'll know my song well before I start singin'
And it's a Hard, it's a Hard, it's a Hard, and it's a Hard
It's a Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall"
I noticed late last night that the information I cited concerning the walkout for Netanyahu's speech was in fact from last years UNGA.
I deleted the post immediately because it was based on misinformation, only to discover an hour or so later that the somewhat inevitable had happened again!
Sadly, but predictably, Nepal did not join the walkout.
I could have just left the post up and my 'apple cart' metaphor would still have been accurate.
But that's not how I roll.

We revealed files showing four of Nepal’s new leaders were named by a US govt regime change org as figures the group would “support”
Our report was met with waves of attacks, but none disputed the files' authenticity
Nepal's govt is now arresting those who share our reporting
The Grayzone triggered a national scandal in Nepal when we published documents showing national leaders being trained by a US regime change outfit
Now, a Nepal court is demanding answers after the gov’t arrested an analyst for sharing our report
