4A Softball Champions - Fort Scott 🥎
It’s been 21 years since Fort Scott has brought home a title in Softball. Last year they finished in 3rd place, but today that all change. Under first year head coach, Kent Aikin, Fort Scott defeated the (7) seed Wamego in 6-0 win, with 6 hits overall.
The Tigers brought the energy early in the game scoring 3 runs in the 3rd inning and in the 4th inning, Raylee Cowan hit a home run bring in 2 runs on top of her home run.
Rylee Hackmann of Sports in Kansas caught up with the Tiger’s after today’s win with Head Coach Kent Aikin, Raylee Cowan, Aubrey Yarick, and Kyndal Aikin.
