Seriously, there is no land grab in Appalachia. There is no armed FEMA shock troops ambushing sweet old patriots just trying to help. Stop believing the dumbest garbage ever. Ask yourself why you’re being lied to. But then ask yourself why you’re so damn eager to believe the lies

THE #GIS VP!!
Replying to @_cingraham
Here's a wild anecdote: while teaching high school students about genocide in 1993, Walz had them use GIS data to predict where the next one would occur. They said Rwanda. (the NYT verified this via interviews with some of those students in a 2008 story)

Government for the highest bidder…
JUST IN: Prosecutors have charged Rep. Cuellar and his wife with accepting $600,000 in foreign bribes and money laundering. They face long prison terms if convicted.

I came to Twitter for the links. Advertisers came to Twitter for the links. We both come to Twitter less now. This site is ⚰️
Twitter/X has officially removed article headlines on links shared to the platform, now just displaying the image and website.

The @washingtonpost has a feature today where you can compare life expectancy in your state with other states & countries. Tennessee barely edging out Kyrgyzstan—where average annual income is roughly $1,100. Dying earlier than in 45 states & seemingly all developed nations.

Sounds like the ‘stable genius’ is solving forest management for us… cool 🤡
Trump: We can actually dampen our forests with water that costs us nothing that will come pouring down. If you had dampened floors, you wouldn’t have forest fires

At the risk of stating the obvious, it’s a little ridiculous to fall back on the mantra that the remedy is to “vote them out” when the crime is attempting to discard the legitimate results of an election in which the people voted them out.
