In Feb 2025, Luca Netz asked a room in Paris to hold him accountable for Abstract!
A month later, Abstract’s lawyers told the SEC a token was “currently under development.”
On 6 Oct 2026: no token, no airdrop, and new terms capping what users can recover at $100.
The Abstract File 👇
Sir, you're one of the biggest influencers on Abstract. Don't you feel bad for the people you influenced who wasted their time and money for nothing? Don't you think Abstract is accountable for recklessly leading them to waste resources without building a sustainable ecosystem?
Some people from Abstract are upset because I’m not more vocal about what happened or sitting around talking about it still.
They want me to hate Igloo or Pudgy Penguins or Luca with them.
I don’t.
Am I kinda annoyed with them and wish they had done things differently? Of course.
I do think they made some extremely bad decisions and mistakes which pushed them into a corner in which there seems like no solution that will please anyone or the majority.
And as a business, I have to grit my teeth and understand that they have a duty to their sustainability and shareholders/investors to win.
How do you do an airdrop that will be significant at all if you have no money left for the chain? Do you only reward the top 80 people in Etheral and Obsidian & leave out everyone else? If you try to reward everyone with no substantial capital then everyone just makes peanuts and is still unhappy.
There are a lot of takes that I’ve seen from people hurt by abstract and people who just hate pudgy penguins and see it as an opportunity to have leverage for engagement bait.
When Alex Becker made me promises non stop on a personal level as Rat King and then raised $20m on a mint and fucked everyone over and rugged, I spent a year wallowing and sulking. I spent almost a year building a massive community and depending on financial promises from him only to have that entire time become a waste.
I regret all the time I wasted fixated on it and trying to find a way to get what I felt was justice.
I missed out on so many opportunities because my head was down.
I made this post below about abstract and moved forward without looking back because I learned it’s the only way to win.
Now I’m in a spot I could only have dreamed of a year ago because I don’t have one foot in and one foot out.
We are all here to make as much money as we can to change our lives while hopefully finding niches within the space that give us fulfillment or joy.
People might not agree with my perspective or my take, but actions speak louder than words and me winning right now would have never happened if I sat around sulking about the past.

Aren't the people behind Pudgy Penguins are the same team that built Abstract, onboarded a bunch of normies, and then rugged them? Now those people won't touch crypto ever again.🤔

Pudgy Penguins is one of the crypto brands trying to reach people OUTSIDE of crypto and bring them to the space.
We need much more of this.
If you’re rooting against that in favor of projects that just try and steal CTs attention, then you’re part of what’s holding crypto back
Be a missionary. Not a mercenary.

This may not return the time we lost or the funds spent on-chain, but perhaps it can give us justice.
I encourage all Abstract victims to do the same: file a report with the SEC detailing how we were misled for nearly two years and the time and money we wasted.
I have submitted a tip to the @SECGov regarding my experience with @AbstractChain, including its XP incentives, public statements, and shutdown.
I spent nearly two years participating in the ecosystem, accumulated millions of XP, and spent approximately $30,000 across it. I have asked the SEC to review the facts and determine whether any further inquiry is warranted.
This is my personal account and a request for regulatory review, not a finding of wrongdoing by the SEC. I hope others who participated will preserve their transaction records and share their experiences responsibly.
I urge the SEC to carefully review the evidence and, if it finds violations of federal securities laws, take the appropriate enforcement action.

He claims that all investments are essentially a form of gambling. Consequently, buying Pudgy Penguins and $PENGU is no different than placing a bet. Furthermore, considering the team's questionable reputation, buying into these assets means betting against the odds.

Too many people are looking for handouts in this space
Farming to me is a form of handouts
You're just unnecessarily burning in hopes for a magic repayment in the future
This excess usage is a gamble on so many fronts. Most people just don't view it as such at the time
Eth and Sol dont repay us for using their chains
And all investments (time, money, emotions) are a form of gambling
This time the gamble didn't work out
That happens
All of these projects are trying something new. Some will make it, some will not. And just like everything in this space, success and failure BOTH come at you at lighting speeds
That's why most people initially enter this space. For the quick profits. The same speed for success also can happen for failures
The space has to accept that answers can change and unless you signed a contract and have the expertise to interpret it, you have to accept that changes and even mistakes do happen (and don't get me started on all the Sunday morning lawyers 🤣)
If failure is something yall cant handle, it's time for you to find a new sandbox to play in
And maybe use this as an opportunity to reevaluate your strategies. If you can't handle something going to 0, you're monetarily and/ or emotionally overleveraged
As an example, you dont see me crying over my GIANT Sugartown losses
I licked my wounds like anyone else would and changed my strategies
At the end of the day, it was MY fault for not doing more research and seeing the signs for where it was heading
All part of the game
And if you've read this far and are still staying in the game, I hope the next ones are winners for you. All it takes is one right click🤞
This is @AbstractChain real roadmap 🤫

I think @IglooInc can easily afford to compensate Abstract victims, but Luca's ego is too big—he’d rather give nothing than offer a small amount.
I don't like the trend of projects shutting down pre-TGE and being seen as somewhat heroic because they didn't extract.
It's incredibly disingenuous because people burn thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars farming these airdrops, I know people who are down five figs on Abstract memes or paid high four figs in StandX fees.
Not doing a TGE just for the sake of it *can* be heroic, but only if there's adequate compensation for the people who used the products in justified expectations of being rewarded
