Because the moment I tell them I'm in pain or sick from the pain, they stop talking to me me like I'm human, or attempt to say I'm taking.

I am so grateful to the friends I have now. I can genuinely say I've found my people.
I am very traumatized due to past friendships. So I appreciate that my friends reassure me that it's okay to be myself and to also treat myself when I can. That I'm not doing anything wrong.
Aaaaand depressive episode hitting extra hard because every time I get news or answers about my health, it's always worse, and the "good news" is "it hasn't gotten worse, yet"
Fuck me, I'm stuck in a life where I can't get proper medical care, let alone timely care.
I'm unable to work because of the incompetence of doctors and the malice of a system that hates disabled people.
Doctors unfamiliar with diabetes claim everything wrong w/ me is diabetes
The referrals I need to keep OW off my back take a minimum of 12-18 months just for an intake appointment, never mind the actual procedure.
I had to be referred pain medication because my family doctor keeps saying "I'm too young" to need any kind of medical care.
