Why do people think PG is some washed 10-12ppg bench player now? It’s baffling….no one thinks he better than Jaylen and no one thinks he’s still a star but he’s a lock down wing defender who will put up 17-19ppg on high efficiency. I’ll say it again I do not think Cs are better with PG > Jaylen But I undoubtedly know the roster going into this season is > than roster going into last

I don’t get that narrative. Why in the world would the Celtics not be a good basketball team this year? Does anyone like do you even watch basketball? They have the identical team as last season. They won 56 games. You’re basically replacing Brown with Tatum who is a better shooter, a better rebounder a better softball defender 1 million times better playmaker and 1 million times a better passer and 1 million times better in the pick and roll. Brown basically has no pick and roll game. He had all of last season and he formed no chemistry with any of the Celtic centers or other players in Pickin roll actions Brown’s nothing but a isolation scoring player that’s what he is so that’s that and then on top of that all that’s an upgrade and then you’re adding Paul George who had five steals the other night is elite defensively on and off wall a 40% three-point shooter and a very good passer in his own right and then after that, you’re adding the best rebounding center in the entire league Robinson, he’s one of the best rebounders in NBA history. He’s the best offensive rebounder in the league and he’s very good at setting screens and then after all that all the young guys are getting better. You still have white and Pritchard now you got Gonzalez and Shireman Walsh Harper Hauser Garza I have no idea how you cannot think that the Celtics are going to be good this year. They’re going to have one of the best offenses in basketball and they’re going to have one of the best defenses in basketball and when you put those two things together, you’re gonna win a lot of basketball games

Call me crazy but I really think the Celtics are a second star away from being championship favorites. For example if we had ‘18-‘21 Paul George Id be comfortably picking us to win the Finals. *If he can play at the level he did in R1 ‘26 we might get there anyway*

Unfortunately paying up isn’t the problem. I’m all for paying up but the ramifications of paying up now with the new cba aren’t just some small tax. If it was just a tax that was needed to pay then by all means I’d say pay up. Keep an extend your players because the thing I dislike the most is homegrown guys walking out of the door.

Role players are as good as the system you run and the roles you assign them. Your system is based on and around your best player. Our best player was hurt. Our system wasn’t at its best. Our role players were given longer leashes and bigger roles in order to improve. You guys put nonsensical weight on one meaningless playoff series.

I’ve been a @celtics fan for 30+ years. Season ticket holder for a number of years. I truly dislike this version of the “yes sir” team and their management has me disgusted. @NBA will probably gift Tatum a ring. Not because of great play, more to diminish what @FCHWPO did, IMO.

There are always other players. Bieber they chose to trade those because they felt they could replace them or find a way to move forward without them. The decision to do that became due to the cba. This wasn’t the normal contract extension issues.
