Can you travel from Land's End to John O'Groats without stepping foot in a Tory constituency?
No. Because there are two 'barriers' of Tory seats blocking your route out of Cornwall and across the Borders into Scotland.
Otherwise, yes, but only via Wales.

I asked a GB News spokesperson if their contributors needed to be factual and balanced. They looked at me blankly. They didn't know what I meant by factual. They asked if it meant a racist who can write with a crayon.
And that's that for another season. I have my dream list of ideal participants for Season 3.....

.@British_Airways There are no other cancelled flight departures from Edinburgh this evening so how can this be correct? It’s a glorious day. And with just a couple of hour notice. 1/3

@RupertLowe10 I fit that category 100%. I will obviously be taking a pay cut, but I promise you and a future Restore government, that thousands of us veterans will be cueing up day one of your administration. 👊😎🇬🇧

Just Alex Armstrong from GB News doing what any good journalist would do - making up lies to stir up hatred and being called out for it by the police.

Just went to my local station’s ticket office and told them I have ADHD, and they immediately and without question gave me a Disabled Persons Railcard, along with another ten just in case I lose any of them, as well as a leather-effect box to keep them all in. Before I could say anything else, the lady also gave me £325 in cash in a silver tankard, a free first class LNER return from London to Edinburgh, a double-deck Betamax recorder, a selection of garden furniture, a wardrobe of the latest ladies’ fashions, a teasmade, a portable facial sauna sarolium, a hifi with a turntable, and a three-day city break to Budapest. Then, while the whole station rotated, I had 15 seconds to decide if I wanted to gamble the lot for the chance to win a speedboat while other passengers in the queue screamed advice at me.

Real poster from Buckinghamshire Council and Thames Valley police.
Police have issued a warning to the public that Halloween can upset "religious or cultural beliefs" ahead of the celebrations this weekend.
I’m so tired of all this crap.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The poster is a standard "no trick or treat" notice from Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Council for residents (esp. elderly/vulnerable) who do not want unexpected callers. It contains no mention of Halloween upsetting religious or cultural beliefs.

Hi Alex. This is a poster that can be used by anyone, such as elderly or vulnerable residents, who do not wish to have unexpected callers or be disturbed. At no point have we mentioned that Halloween can upset "religious or cultural" beliefs.
Another reason to love James Acaster. Kept Amol Rajan off our screens for three weeks.
Legend.
