5.) Bank’s are thinking about future agentic commerce. Major concerns remain around AI trust, governance and credentials. Immutable audit trails needed. Advanced models increasing security risks and quantum concerns are real. This is where Hedera shines.

🧵A record of what your AI agents did, and who allowed it. That is the problem @dovuofficial is building to solve on @hedera As banks begin letting AI agents approve payments, move money and delegate work to other agents, DOVU is building an independent record of authority and action. The hard question is not just: “What happened?” It is: “Can you prove the agent was allowed to act at that exact moment?” 👇 Traditional audit logs record what a system says happened. That is not enough when the system being examined wrote the log. You also need to know: • Was the agent allowed to act? • Who granted that authority? • What were the limits? • Was the permission still valid at that moment? • When was it revoked? Here is the important distinction: Current authority is not the same as point-in-time authority. Example: 14:01 → an agent approves a payment within its limit. 14:02 → the permission is revoked. Both facts have to remain true. A later revocation must not rewrite the fact that the agent was authorized when the payment occurred. That is what @dovuofficial calls Authority Trail. Identity tells you who the agent is. Authority Trail records what it was allowed to do, who granted that authority, the limits, delegation and revocation. And crucially, that history sits outside the system being audited. Then comes Flow. Flow records the process itself, step by step. Before a step is recorded, it checks Authority Trail for the permission behind it. So: Authority Trail → who was allowed to do what Flow → what actually happened Person, system or AI agent. Same model. Underneath that sits @hedera. DOVU writes these records to a public ledger, creating timestamped history that neither the institution being audited nor DOVU can later rewrite. Sensitive customer data and documents stay inside existing systems. The public record provides the independent proof needed to verify the action and the authority behind it. That creates a simple chain: Identity → Authority → Action → Independent Record And that distinction becomes increasingly important as autonomous agents enter financial infrastructure. It is not enough to prove: “The agent did this.” You may also need to prove: “The agent had authority to do this when it happened.” That is the layer DOVU is building on Hedera.

Most agent security questions ask what an agent did. Harder one: what context shaped that decision and can anyone check it later? HCS-27 answers this: Merkle-root checkpoints anchored on HCS make context logs tamper-evident and independently auditable 🧵

The AI cannot be its own auditor. If an autonomous system takes an action, its own logs shouldn't be the only evidence. Hedera provides independent ordering and timestamps, and can anchor tamper-evident commitments; while sensitive data stays off-chain.

The AI security conversation just changed. It's no longer only about whether a model gives a good answer, it's about what an autonomous agent is allowed to do. Six banks — Bank of America, NatWest, ING, Capital One and others — just published a report on AI shopping agents. The core problem: they often can't tell which agent made a purchase, or whether it matched what the customer asked for. That's the gap dovu.ai

Think bigger. Almost every industry already has authority. Governments license people. Companies authorize employees. Universities authorize instructors. Banks authorize signatories. Manufacturers approve suppliers. Platforms authorize agents. The problem is that much of this permission lives inside emails, PDFs, spreadsheets and private databases. Authority Trail turns “trust me, I’m approved” into “check for yourself.” Authority Trail exposes real-time and historical authority for marketplaces, procurement systems, compliance systems, and any other workflow.
