🗣️ Haaland: "It has been the best weeks I have had in my entire life. I think it has changed Norway. I think it has changed me. I hope it has brought the people together.
I hope this also motivates young people back home in Norway, that it is possible to play on the biggest stage wearing this jersey."
Miss those days
When I was 12 years old I’d wake up on a Saturday morning, watch some cartoons and pro wrestling, go outside and throw a rubber ball off the side of the house, get the guys in the neighborhood together for Wiffle Ball, go inside for Atari and snacks, ride my bike to Dairy Queen for a Mr. Misty, listen to Casey Kasem, flip on ESPN and watch sports with no social commentary, flip it over to MTV, which showed actual music videos, go back outside for more Wiffle Ball, and then think “Hey, it’s almost 3 pm.” Living my best life and had no fucking idea how good I had it.
Phenomenal!
30 years ago I was the starting QB at Utah State University. My senior year I got benched. For the next 15 years I walked around feeling like a certified loser. Then I read this quote from Pat Summitt:
'Winning is fun… Sure. But winning is not the point.
Wanting to win is the point.
Not giving up is the point.
Never letting up is the point.
Never being satisfied with what you’ve done is the point.'
It snapped me out of it. If you’re still carrying a sports setback, a benching, a missed opportunity, or any “I’m not enough” story… this is your permission slip to drop it. The game isn’t over. Your story is not yet written. You are still a work in progress. The point is you keep wanting it. You keep getting up. And you listen to that quiet voice that says, "I will try again tomorrow."

I don't give a damn who they vote for. I don't give a damn who they supported. I give a damn that they went out there and competed for our country and did so amazingly. If you care about their politics...you..are...the problem. I am gonna pour a beer and toast both...tonight.

A few things that need to happen in college sports to stop the madness.
1. We need a commissioner
2. Contracts need to be 2years. With a buyout/ payback clause in them
3. Change the portal to the spring or summer.
4. No more bowl opt outs, you're getting paid to play not sit out. If you sit out you lose or have to pay back money.
That's a few things that will definitely help. Schools/Donors can't just keep taking L's. And the bag chasing will die down a lot. What are some of your thoughts???

What has happened to @CoachPelluer is terrible. Everything wrong about entitled parents and kids.
Coaches like @CoachPelluer don’t just build teams — they build men. Please reinstate Coach Pelluer. He represents everything right about the game!

“I am a true believer in the power of college athletics for institutions like WSU, and you will not see me suggest that we somehow get out of this game. We are in college athletics at scale going forward, and we will figure this out.”
