While I think it's very funny to be in "consumer social" while everyone is doing AI pivots to desperately find a moat at the end of software, it's technically an API platform, identity service and digital economy—we're not actually building a social network, but a new internet—in the sense that it completes the internet envisioned by the hippie-hackers that invented it, which we neveer really got—the social network is just a scaffold to fill it. RemiliaNET's thesis is a social graph, knowledge graph and interest graph sharing a single RDF typed ontology allowing it to be robust, interoperable, and hypertext-complete, designed for permanency and machine readability, while the human layer is refined to what will always remain exclusively human—social positioning and self-expression via self-decoration/curation; aka yapping and signaling. The internet as we know it is a false internet, and it's going to be flooded with turing-complete agents who reduce it like a river cutting down a mountain until the social networks of 1.0 become reduced to a steady-state crystal sculpture of perfectly immobile JSON, and in the long-tail the entire digital economy moves off-web on-chain buzzing endlessly in circles while the earth is strip mined, and it will be just punishment for the false internet; but man will live on in a noospheric cloud where monastic artisto/NEETs held out on Northern Islands meshed over satellites in the sky perform the last Great Work of a complete ontology of all things, and this ontology will be known as the internet, and it will be our new consciousness, and a new kind of man will be born, a new science, a new art, a new future, from the children raised within it. This is how we square things away.
