Typical VC bullshit. This is the case for any (remotely) related AI startup.
Way back when pitching Leibniz Labs it was based on two premisses (1) verifiably safe, and (2) hyper-personalized.
I got laughed out of the room consistently (or in VC speak" ...blah .. no conviction .. blah ...). In the mean time no one is laughing about safety and verification any more. The models are not yet powerful enough, but soon I expect hyper-personalization via partial evaluation will be common practice as well.
If you want to learn more, come to my "Welcome to the AI chop shop" talk at aidevcon.io. Use "ERIK30" to save some $$$ to spend on tokens instead.
As AI has surpassed all our skills, and the big labs grabbed all opportunities with their infinite token budgets, I have been learning the craft of pizza making. Before the food robots rob us of that as well.

This always freaks me out. It fucking wrote the model in TLA+ 5 minutes ago!
From my AI World Fair talk in June 2026 on using formal verification for AI safety. Apparently they did listen, but never bothered to tell me (yet) ;-)
"... Fine-tuning a model corresponds to partial evaluation of an interpreter to yield a compiler. Then, the second Futamura projection shows that we can specialize/fine-tune a model to fine-tune other models ..."

Why do academics keep want to gatekeeper research? It is *amazing* that you only need a single researcher and a chatbot to get the same results as a team of 10.
Happy to see some mathematicians do embrace AI.

Cry babies.
Oh my, programming languages, whether you consider them ugly or beautiful, AI has already thrown them all out with the bathwater and flushed them down the sewer.
I called someone’s baby ugly and now I’m old and unskilled 😂
Over the past few weeks I’ve critiqued Go and Rust and had many personal attacks lodged at me. I know this is twitter and there isn’t centralized response coordination. But seeing a lot of vitriol from these communities doesn’t inspire me to want to use those languages.
Boosting, super useful for all your vibe coding projects, especially the API pldb.kirancodes.me/mcp.
to know where you are going, you have to know where you have been:

Titles and abstracts of 22,324 programming languages papers, from the first POPL in 1973 to this year's proceedings.
Congrats to all the great winners (obviously I did not stand a chance against those)
