We are back in the season of people announcing they have every type of infection but COVID. Please stay away from me and keep this news to yourself.
I like letting my kid circle the things they want in the weekly grocery store ad. This week they circled ice cream, cookies, cakes, mixed berries, pears, fruit popsicles, and a flower bouquet.

All that is happening is all that has ever happened: they are all following each other. Some elected official somewhere decided, given extreme climate events and fuel issues, that getting populations less dependent on an immediate response does 2 things: 🧵
Do we really think the stockpiling warnings are for the average person?
Or are they for the wealthy few who control our resources so they can prepare for when we're desperate?

We cannot have sustainable energy because it threatens the oil industry. We cannot have healthcare because it threatens insurance. We cannot have peace because it threatens the weapons industry. Capitalism built a system where doing the right thing is treated like bad business.

Everywhere is severely understaffed or running a skeleton crew while nobody can find a job. Why? Because they hate you. The people running your government think you're inferior and want you to die. Basically everyone who owns property or stocks wants you to be homeless and die.

Heading into November, I am still mostly bedridden with a colitis flare, bleeding & out of the safe food & OTC meds that keep my symptoms at bay. Plus $80 in co-pays & costs insurance won't cover. $200 total would cover November.
