So much joy at this event! We came together to build trust and relationships across our partner organizations and - as you can see - it absolutely worked! We learned a lot by visiting the Blocks of Care in Bogotá. Looking forward to sharing the stories with @UWBuiltEnv
Change Stories Knowledge Exchange manifested that research should be joyful and center community experiences and voices to inspire conversations about sustainable and equitable urban changes on all possible levels – policy-making, CBOs, academia, and many others.

After learning about Bogotá’s Ciclovía for a decade, I finally visited with @Change_Stories_ . Seeing the city by bike was perfect but my favorite part was the group dance exercise class that we joined. They occur city-wide on Sundays. All ages took part and it was pure joy.

Congratulations #UCL_HWSB Class of 2022! I'm so proud of you and all you achieved despite all the challenges we faced during the pandemic. It was so nice to catch up with some of you on Friday! 🎉🎉 #healthybuildings #wellbeing #sustainability @UCL_IEDE @helenpineo @mooregemma
Celebrated the official end to a 2 year part time masters @TheBartlettUCL on Friday 🎉✨. The @UCL_HWSB course has been invaluable in illustrating how we might design for a healthier built environment. + it's given me the confidence to build my own business with that knowledge.

I really enjoyed this conversation with Ross O' Ceallaigh of the Green Urbanist podcast. Along with some personal reflections about urban living, we get into details on the ‘business case’, new models of development and a mutual love of community-led housing.

The emissions gap in 2030 is 15 GtCO2e annually for a 2C pathway and 23 GtCO2e for a 1.5C pathway. This assumes full implementation of the unconditional NDCs, and is for a 66 per cent chance of staying below the stated temperature limit. /4

This is basically the most important thing in the world. If we can’t come together on this, the future looks a lot less bright, and all the other great things we’re doing a lot less relevant. Cities are a big part of the answer, but it’s all hands on deck. Please read and RT.
Where are global emissions heading and where should they be going to keep #globalwarming well below 2C and 1.5C? Today, @UNEP released the 2022 #emissionsgap report. A look at the key messages but caution, not much good news ahead 🧵/1

“If there was ever a time for fire in the belly and a radical politics of hope, it is now.” As we grieve and honor the legacy of Mike Davis, we've made his classic book, City of Quartz, free to download.
