Slowing down pays either way. Rough rule of thumb: every mph over 55 costs about 0.1 mpg. Drop from 65 to 60 and you go from roughly 6.5 to 7.0 mpg. At $5.40 diesel over 100K miles a year, that's around $6,000 back in your pocket per truck.

If its green diesel fuel wwnt down in price, if its red it went up. The dark green states went down 30 plus cents last night. On average across our glorious nation it went down 15 cents per gallon. I paid $5.40 a gallon in Wisconsin yesterday. Today it should be close or under $5.10. Keep slowing down fellas, our plan is working.

Brand new Mack Pioneer with 2262 miles. First tank topped up and reset the trip meter. 167 miles down the road its claiming I can drive all week with these 230 gallons of capacity. Currently 20,000 lbs of flat steel on pallets on the floor of my dry van. I'm super curious to see how far I can make this week before filling again. 🤔
