Growing up in a household where everyone did solo time I do not understand when people have dynamics where everyone must commune together. Even when we’re watching tv together we’re not speaking. We’re a parallel play family 😂

In single-parent households there is only one person to ladder things up to. There’s no board of directors. It’s a very efficient process. I think married couples need to establish r&rs. We can’t have a discussion everytime a child wants $20 or to join soccer.
