Do you reckon Scott Morrison has been to a petrol station lately? Petrol prices are surging on his watch.

He started a new division without my approval, called 'Jim's inflation', due to the excessive government overspending.

Getting desperate ‘Pyro Jim’. Like someone stuck in a hole who should stop digging, you should really stop pouring debt petrol on the inflation fire.

"The government cannot afford to provide another tax cut.. warns a report.. that raises pressure.. to cut spending and overhaul the tax system.
The annual.. report by the independent Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) says tough decisions need to be made to balance the books..
The PBO predicts the budget will remain in deficit for the next decade, returning to balance.. as a result of bracket creep causing workers to pay rising rates of income tax."
I feel like we're in a doom loop because governments refuse to reduce debt, deregulate and lower tax rates to reduce debt repayments and increase tax revenue.
So long as we continue to fail on those, the burden will fall on workers with higher taxes and lower living standards.

This morning Her Excellency, the Governor has recommissioned me as Premier.
A new cabinet will be sworn in early next week, and the new Parliament will sit the following week.
Looking forward to continuing positive conversations with MPs as to how we can better work together for Tasmania.
So together, we can get on with it.

For all the talk about Dutton forging a new path to the Libs getting majority gov, uniform swing to 76 produces pretty similar seats that they normally win.
+ Rich inner/outer metro seats
+ Regional/rural seats

Remember folks Australia has a housing supply growth problem and it has nothing to do with demand.

Bring back the cheque!
By 30 June 2028 these things will no longer be issued and by 30 September 2029 they will no longer be accepted in Australia.
Surprised it's taken this long to get rid of cheques.

A lot of blame is squared at the Howard Gov reforms to GCT and negative gearing.
But the decoupling of prices from wages seems to have happened from 2012. What happened and changed from then that could have caused this?

The Greens have been DESTROYED in Shoalhaven
LAST PLACE in the mayoral race where they're the incumbent party (although incumbent Greens mayor wasn't recontesting)
−12% in Ward 1, −12% in Ward 2, −13% in Ward 3
Huge for the right-wing Shoalhaven Independents Group
There is a war on motorists - and I don’t like it. Who will represent us?
