Democrats must be absolutely ruthless now.
No “healing the nation”. No “moving on”, no “reconciliation”, no “bridging the gaps”. No “if they go low, we go high”. No Obamism.
Subpoena, impeach, prosecute, imprison. Trumpism is criminal & should be treated as such.

🇩🇪🇪🇺 Every public administration in Europe should follow six German states and start leaving non-European tech behind.
Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate now have a deal, worth up to €67.5m, for a school platform built by two German firms, Nextcloud and IONOS.
Files, chat, video calls, email, calendars and office tools, all open source and hosted only in German data centres.
Why does it matter?
Because we have seen how tech can be switched off overnight for political reasons:
🔸European ICC judges lost access to US services (Gmail, Amazon, Microsoft licenses);
🔸Ukraine saw Starshield throttled to be forced into surrender.
What would happen if all governments services stopped working over a diplomatic squabble with Washington?
Because we have a duty to support European innovation & jobs, as everybody else does with its own tech:
🔹Germany’s federal administration spent €481.4m on Microsoft licences in 2025 alone.
🔹 EU businesses spend about €264bn a year on US cloud and software, supporting nearly 2 million jobs in the US.
How many jobs, and how much innovation and research, would we create if we switched entirely to European technology?
Excellent digital products and tech already exist in Europe - whatever bots will keep saying.
Let's support European companies!

For the next two years, Democrats should put bill after bill on Trumps desk. Force him to veto them.
Bills to fix affordability, end the corruption, create jobs, end the war… all of them!
Then in 2028, it will be clear to voters who stood in the way of re-building America.

I’m Jewish. My relatives were killed in the Holocaust. In their memory, I just donated again to Abdul El-Sayed. Shame on Haley Stevens and her Jewish fiancé for supporting a fascist regime.

Julian Segal simply refuses to engage with evidence of Israel’s terrible crimes in Gaza and elsewhere. Yet she keeps on using egs of “faddish” anti-Israel as egs of anti semitism.
Her appointment is untenable.
Elon Musk didn’t create Tesla.
He bought it.
He didn’t create X.
He bought Twitter .
He didn’t invent the rockets, propulsion systems or telemetry of SpaceX. He used NASA tech and poached their engineers.
He’s a venture capitalist and a college dropout. That’s it.

Our comments as Israeli election results roll in: no matter who forms government, Australia must increase pressure on Israel to end the genocide and apartheid it is inflicting on Palestinians.

The idiot’s guide to states – and their ‘rights’:
1. States exist. Some 200 of them.
2. States are the political arrangement in which a people express their self-determination. That arrangement can and does change.
3. States enjoy rights, but only against each other. They have the right, for example, not to face unprovoked aggression from another state.
4. No state has some enduring, abstract “right” to exist. Otherwise bad ones like apartheid South Africa would be unreformable.
5. Peoples, by contrast, do have a right to exist. That’s why states that commit apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide are so gravely violating international law. Because they are violating a people’s right to exist.
6. When people argue Israel has a “right” to exist, they are trying to dupe you into believing international law is fine with apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide. It isn’t. For obvious reasons, international law prefers the rights of peoples over those of states. Otherwise, no state could ever be illegitimate. Its rights would trump those of the people it rules over.
7. When someone refuses to agree that Israel has a “right” to exist, they are not being antisemitic, whatever the media keeps telling you. They are upholding international law: the precedence of peoples’ rights over those of states.
8. The claim that Israel has a “right” to exist is not what it seems. It’s really the claim that the current reality of extreme inequality between Israelis and Palestinians be set in stone. It’s the diabolical claim that Israel has a right to commit apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Palestinian people.
