Now that the dam has officially broken, I predict we will see quite a few more stories like this. The fear isn't paralyzing them anymore, and hopefully the results will help people find more bravery to expose the corruption even more.

Gov. JB Pritzker on what Democrats should do: "There's an easy way to start, let's raise the minimum wage in the United States. I'm mean, it's $7.25 is the federal minimum wage, you can't survive on $14,000 a year with a single full-time job. People even with two full-time jobs at $7.25 that's $28,000, you can't raise a family on that."

Gov. @JBPritzker: For 8 years I've asked you to join me in hope. I'd like to take a measure tonight of what that has gotten us. We've nearly doubled the minimum wage to $15/hour. We delivered universal paid leave for every Illinois worker. We made Illinois a fortress for women's reproductive freedom. We enacted the toughest AI regulations in the country. We banned assault weapons. We stood up against ICE invasions. If all of that wasn't good enough for you, we had a winning White Sox season. And a Bears playoff win over the Packers. And the Chicago Pope. I can't really take credit for those last 3, but I think God has hope in us too.
