The charges facing George Madgwick are truly sickening.
Arrested in January. Appointed as Reform’s leader in Hampshire in May. Promoted in Reform HQ in July.
Farage must come clean on what he knew and when.
False analysis. The previous independent candidate agreed not to stand. So his
18 5% went to the Greens. Meaning the true Green vote increased by about 3.5%. certainly an increase but not a spectacular one.
Replying to @ObserverUK @andrewrawnsley
My god our media is pathetic,if reform increased its vote share 22.%,and its second best by-election result.we would hear how well they are doing and phone ins.shows how corrupt our tv and newspapers report news nowadays.just propaganda nowadays.

I've just witnessed a young, fit, asian man help an elderly lady on a train. He asked if she needed help. Helped her with her coat, carried her bag & helped her off the train then returned to his seat. I vomited immediately and cancelled my RNLI subs. The country is finished

A new low for Farage, encouraging and supporting Ryan Bridge from Raise the Colours at the Reform Conference in Brum. Bridge is answering bail in Oxfordshire tomorrow and will be charged with 14 offences of harassment, including racially motivated harassment. He is on bail for other violent offences in Brighton, and others from Raise the Colours stand charged with an array of offences from Murder and GBH to Possession of Indecent Images of Children.

Your reminder that this was pretty much what the KKK did.
The Klan also pretended that policing was failing to justify the implementation of its own “security presence”. The real aim? To embed a public fear of ethnic minorities.
Reform is doing precisely the same thing.

How to understand the squeeze on council spending?
In 2009-10 Cardiff Council could afford to spend the equivalent of £150 per person on libraries, culture, heritage, sport and recreation.
By 2024-25 that number had fallen to £50.18.

I see Southern Water still repeating the same old lie, that it's OK to dump sewage "during periods of heavy rainfall".
Funny that, courts are very clear, that's illegal, sewage should only ever be dumped during "exceptional situations", "exceptional weather". In the UK there's nothing "exceptional", about heavy rain. Is there Southern Water? @EBNreporter

🚨 THIS IS NOW A NATIONAL FOOD SAFETY WARNING we warned was inevitable if we left the EU!!!
The FSA is telling pregnant women, children under five, over-65s and vulnerable people not to eat runny eggs when eating out.
Why?
Bcunusually large and rapidly increasing Salmonella outbreak which investigators say may be linked to imported eggs used in restaurants and catering.
One person dead.
207 confirmed cases.
38% hospitalised.
Meanwhile the FSA says there is no evidence UK-produced eggs are affected.
Britain spent decades building one of the safest egg systems in the world.
Now thanks to Brexit freedoms vulnerable people are effectively being told: British Lion eggs at home are safe but be careful ordering a runny egg in a British restaurant because you may not know where that egg came from.
How on earth is that progress?
Food standards are not red tape.
Border controls are not bureaucracy.
Food security includes food safety.
Israel’s defenders: It’s not a genocide
Israeli officials: Keep killing them, they’re not even people

Not very often we're inclined to repost an editorial from the Daily Telegraph, but occasionally we'll make an exception:
