It is a sitting senator mocking him with a nickname about his faith. It is crowds shouting "traitor" at the sound of his name, and a flood of online smears about his religion, his family, and his community. Let’s call this what it is: Islamophobia. I've always said: before you tell me about your religion, show it to me in how you treat other people. What exactly are we supposed to ENJOY? Listening to you ramble about how wonderful everything is while Michigan families are still getting their asses kicked by grocery bills, housing costs, utilities, and healthcare?
Or are we supposed to be thrilled that you're calling to campaign for your handpicked Republican candidates who apparently can't convince Michigan voters to support them without you holding their fucking hands?
