Nurses went on strike. Then graduate students. Then school teachers. Now it’s hotel employees, writers, and actors. UPS drivers and auto workers may be next. Many strikes, similar story: Workers are sick and tired of billionaires and corporations hoarding wealth and power.

I grow tired of saying it. So this will be the last time. If churches want to butt into politics — then they can start paying some taxes too. Agree? – at West Hollywood, CA

This is absolutely monstrous, inhumane policy. Governor Abbott's troops have been told to push migrant children back into the Rio Grande to drown. expressnews.com/politics/tex…

Here are some things the Founding Fathers definitely did NOT support: - any state-supported religion - foreign influence in US politics - 9 unelected oligarchs legislating - demagogues with cult followings - unregulated use of military weapons

Dear Ma & Pa MAGA, donald trump didn’t lower your taxes. He didn’t get your roads fixed or your bridges built. He didn’t get you healthcare coverage, lower the price of your prescriptions, decrease the deficit, end the opioid crisis, revive the coal industry, he didn’t make “covid disappear”, didn’t make Mexico “pay for the wall”, he didn’t “put America First” and he sure as hell didn’t “drain the swamp”. So when you say he “fought for you”, you mean he validated your hate. Because he didn’t do a goddamn thing for you other than that. He hates who you hate. And sadly, that’s all you think you need.

Hey @Marriott, It’s disgusting that you’re going to allow a Moms For Liberty summit to be hosted this weekend at your venue space in Philadelphia knowing they’re an extremist hate group who quoted Hitler and will have an Oath Keepers terrorist as a guest speaker. Shame on you.

The real war on women's sports is the lack of funding, lack of respect, and lack of overall support that has been true before and after Title IX. Even now, women athletes in the NCAA are given bare bones facilities compared to male counterparts. It's ridiculous.

In Alabama, the penalty for getting an abortion after you are raped is more severe than the penalty for raping someone. How fucked up is that?

Today’s decision is a victory upholding a key portion of the Voting Rights Act and the right of all people in Alabama to participate equally in our elections. While welcome news, it is a reminder of the work that continues to pass national voting legislation to protect our democracy.
BREAKING: Supreme Court rules that Alabama's congressional redistricting maps violate the Voting Rights Act designed to protect against racial discrimination in voting. trib.al/1W9wui9

May is National Military Appreciation Month, and the fact that MAGA doesn’t know that shows how little of a shit they actually give about veterans.

We understand it goes against nature as a parent to not want to run to protect your children when something scary is happening - but the best thing you can do - Teach your children how to protect themselves when the ground shakes, and practice with them! #DropCoverHoldOn
