Planning on mounting a rear hitch on the new to us Brent 882 grain cart. The scale load cells are in the axel spindles. Anyone have photos of what you have done? Needs to be quite long for pickup truck to clear unloading auger.

Thinking we may have finally got a hard enough frost to shut down the sunflowers and sorghum Sudan grass. Some sunflowers looking very close to viable seeds. Almost time to get @woody_VA up with his all crop head

Having a little Halloween fun with our new band sprayer this morning. Cleaning up the volunteer wheat strips in the bio strips
We got our first light frost of the season last night. That should slow down the warm season species in our bio strips and clear the way for more sunlight to reach the cool season species.
Not a mistake. An unintended trial. We forgot to turn the fan on for the MAP delivery for a short distance . @WheatPete
Come out to the Kingsbridge Centre this weekend or next to enjoy a great musical, the last of the Kingsbridge Chronicles. Local talent and local beer.
Too nice of a day to not try something in the field. Trying out the row cleaner in the bio strips. One of the most relaxing jobs on the farm. Will park it for another week or so.
@WheatPete Out soil sampling wheatfields. Not much wonder wheat in the rotation increases yields in subsequent crops look at the root mass.
