Whee I'm Vaccinated!🌊

I had one regret. When I was in grad school, my relationship became abusive. One night, I thought my ex was going to kill me, and I laid there on the bed while he was on the couch in our small studio apartment, with only one regret if it were all to end- that I never wrote down the ideas that came to me. I decided to leave a safe path to a doctorate to pursue writing once we broke up. No one believed in me. I had a mental health relapse. It got so bad that I was afraid to sleep, shower, or eat. I lost 30 lbs. I was in and out of hospitals. Then everything changed. I committed to writing a poem a week for a year. I published them on my poetry platform. It taught me how to hold myself accountable as a writer. I published three books in three years. I started creativity coaching to help other writers feel less alone on their path. I found meaning in my life as I coached, highlighted others in interviews, and connected with so many online. I had grown so much in a three year period. Then I had another near death experience. I choked on steak and had to be heimliched. I thought I was going to die again, this time I had no regrets. I was living my life to its full potential and I pushed myself daily. I knew once that steak came out of my throat that I would do all I could to live the rest of my life in the same way, without regrets. Now, I dedicate myself to coach other writers and artists to live a life without regrets, because I know that peace and wish that for everyone. Here’s your reminder not to wait to write.
