Oska has been recruited as my assistant judge for the @RailFreightUK awards evaluation panel. Not helping hugely as I am on deadline
Social media as it should and can be done by a transport provider. There are a few TOCs I could name that could learn from this approach

Good evening, and thanks for your message.
I've checked our incidents in the area for you. We've got an RTC between J7 and J6 anti clockwise. The road was blocked temporarily. Traffic has been released but lane 1 remains closed.
Between J6 and J5 we had a broken down van in 1/2
Julian Worth’s insightful analysis of the FOCs’ traction dilemma is the must-read feature in November’s @Modern_Railways. So, will John Smith’s parting gift to @GBRailfreight of 30 Class 99s prove to have been forward looking or foolhardy?
This feels like we’re stuck in some awful time warp. This battle was fought and lost back in the eighties, probably before some of these people were even born!

It’s almost that time of year again. Woking’s biggest event is in a few short weeks. Secure your place now and get your tickets cheap in the same cute move! wokingfireworks.org

This is really quite odd for a company which wishes to expand its footprint and continue to be seen as a disrupter

Unlike yesterday, where I arrived 1 hour late after missing my connection due to a LX failure at Wokingham, @GWRHelp performance has today been perfect: depart Barnstaple 1335 arrive North Camp 1720. 3 hr 45 min journey time!
Does anyone know what the secret hack is to force a hand dryer to work in a toilet onboard a @GWRHelp IEP set?
There appears to be a worrying amount of vegetation growth along the line to Barnstaple. Trains are now being scraped by tree branches at many locations and the quantity of greenery is scary. Not looking good for the leaf fall season.
Spotted this on a 166 en route to Barnstaple today. Never seen one of these on a train before. When did this mod happen?
Assuming you eventually find the car park, there is then a plethora of signs advising you of alternative ways of buying a ticket. Thing is, the promised ticket machine doesn’t exist, and no tariff is on display either!
