#PTSDChat Step 3. I shut up, and listen to my head. That's the place where the noises are emitting from. I have to be the passenger in vehicle C's head for a while. That's the only way I'll have a chance to find any way to repsond.
Speaking of my bride - we all need to lean into that person or persons who can offer an empathetic shoulder of understanding and non-judgment. #ptsdchat

That is quite an accomplishment! Congrats to you both! #ptsdchat
Once you recognize you have an issue, get curious about it, and then take action. I did psychotherapy but also added holistic protocols. Massage, chiropractic care, exercise, and yoga to take care of the physical body. Reiki and acupuncture for the energetic body. #ptsdchat
Once you recognize you have an issue ask, "What am I going to do to resolve it?" #ptsdchat
Yes, - recognize and respond proactively to get ahead of potential issues. Use a support system- whatever it takes. #ptsdchat
#PTSDChat My first "step" is admitting there is something I need to take care of because something just "ain't right inside my head right now!" Step 1-a. move toward a solution. Maybe call 988(vets dial 1). Or a friend, or family member. Just get moving, "ME"!

The first step in building the mental health road begins with recognizing an origin, a trigger(s), where we came from, and how we were raised - all set the table for how we respond to traumas that are set in front of us. #ptsdchat

Hey Tim! Thanks for inviting me into the conversation. Pets can be a huge assistance for people who enjoy animals. It is something I will always explore with clients. It’s a great fit for some, for others it can increase anxiety. I am pro pet therapy, but I don’t advocate ownership
The hour went by fast. Have a safe rest of your week everyone. You can always contribute to this discussion after hours. #ptsdchat
😂😂😂 Nah, he loves you for being you. For the person who always show up ready to help others, even if he is struggling in his own right. #ptsdchat

I am glad he is of service to you. I get my puppy and kitty love as we walk our neighborhood. Every so often we watch our neighbor's dog when they travel. I wear her down. #ptsdchat

He was a smart man. He lived a life that would break most of the men in today's world. Me included.
