People don't understand how much VH1 contributed to cultural literacy. Yeah you were high on the couch watching hours of Pop Up video & I Love The (pick a decade) but you were also getting an education in cultural history. We could use more of that, now, & less tik tok slop.
"Pop-Up Video" debuted on VH1 on this date in 1996, adding a whole new layer to watching music videos. BITE-SIZED FACT | The show filled music videos with pop-up bubbles revealing trivia, behind-the-scenes stories and amusing facts about the artists and songs.

My date of birth feels like a celebrity to me. Whenever I see it written somewhere random, like on a movie poster or a milk carton, I'm like omg there she is! Ugh, she looks great :)

I love how Outlook deletes meeting emails the moment I hit accept. It’s a genius idea, because obviously I’ll never need the agenda, Zoom link, meeting details, or literally anything else from that email again. Truly incredible software.

Shane Gillis should do a joke about how parents are not efficient in the school drop off line so we can finally have a national conversation about that.

I really don’t get the whole Diet Coke craze because if my highly advanced palette picks up on the tiniest bit of aspartame I’m throwing shit at the walls

They are never going to give you $9,000 to stay home with your kids. Just like you never got your DOGE check, tariff refund, cheaper groceries, $2 gas, a healthcare plan, or 600% off prescriptions. At some point, being this gullible becomes a fucking choice.

Can someone take the Zoomers aside and gently explain that the point of 9/11 jokes is to undercut the government's war propaganda, you're not actually supposed to think thousands of people burning to death is funny

Someone 100% has a death note with really weird rules “80 year old who really likes kids and is well known for their iconic wigs and makeup” FUCK “80 year old who was in Home Alone 2 known for being a villain with an odd sense of charisma” FUCK

Funny that the government owns all the deer when you hunt but not when one totals your vehicle.

every few months or so I think about that Hayley Joel osment movie where his whole thing is like “hey everyone be nice to each other and do good deeds for others” and then he just gets stabbed to death and Kevin Spacey is there also

Another banger, I’m afraid
Reporter: Why is the U.S. intervening to support the Japanese yen at this time? Trump: Japan’s been very good to us, with the exception, of course, of Pearl Harbor.
