Jon Holtz

Unreal crowd and atmosphere at Slippery Rock Homecoming today. A true reminder of how special SRU is. Thank you to @WKBNSports for coming over to cover it. @ChadK426 was so good on the call today. What a remarkable place this is.

First time this number’s ever been under 5. Golf is hard.

When I worked at Army, Melrose was the absolute best to work with anytime we had ESPN. He beat me to the rink the last time I worked with him. Had to be 5+ hours before game time. We spent an hour just sharing stories before anyone else showed up. RIP to an awesome human being.

Small school football, especially D2, was pretty awesome tonight.

Really impactful few days in Chicago having meaningful conversations with the @CollSportsComm leadership group about moving our organization forward. There are some terrific humans working hard on behalf of collegiate athletic communicators. Humbled to have a seat in that room.

What a call from Josh Kerr. Said for months he would run 3:42 today and break the world record in the mile and then he came out and did just that.

Messi is unreal.

Only took 6 stages for the Tour to be over this year. Might have to just stop watching for the next few years until this alien retires. Pogacar doesn’t even look human on the bike.

Unorganized train wreck from USMNT tonight.

Lights certainly looking a little too bright for the USMNT early on here. Look like a totally different team than the first four games.

Atta boy Jonas! Great ride from @vismaleaseabike to kick off the Tour. #TDF2026

VAR has to be the worst replay system in the world in any sport right?

Sid, Geno and Staal all with Conn Smythe trophies in their career. What a team that 2009 Penguins squad was.

Heck yeah Jordan Staal. What a performance after a 17-year hiatus from the cup finals. That was a dominant playoff from the Canes. Deserving champion.

Packed house for our joint D2 and D3 session this afternoon at #CSCunite26

Every now and again you get reminded of why you do what you do.

WOUT!!!! Finally! #parisroubaix

Give @miketirico a gold medal for that marathon he just ran from Super Bowl to Olympics. Excellent stuff from a broadcasting legend.

lol what? He’s the best player in the world sure, but Connor Hellebuyck is the MVP of this tournament.
