📺 @howaboutafresca and @SwollenDome discuss why the Big Ten may only get one team in the CFP in a down year for the conference 👀
Can you believe in the Rockets, Grizzlies and Blazers? Listen here:

You know, if there was a broadcast trade deadline you could send Troy Aikman from ESPN to Prime for Kirk Herbstreit. That's a "good trade for both teams..."
"Belief levels" in the surprise top 3 teams in the West:
1) Rockets. 100%. Best version of Sengun yet.
2) Grizzlies. To a point. Boozer & Jerome will eventually slow down.
3) Blazers. No. A healthy Ja Morant would change that.
Here's your CFP HOT TAKE: The Big 10 is only getting ONE team into the playoff - whoever wins the conference title game. All four possibilities (UCLA, Indiana, OSU, USC) are flawed, all will lose games the rest of the way. 🔥🔥🔥
Biggest CFP takeaways:
1) 3 loss teams are making the CFP this year - and it won't even be controversial.
2) CFP telling us scheduling matters (Alabama, Texas). So even when we get to 24-team playoff, we're still going to get big early games.
How much trouble are the Seahawks in? TONS. Listen here:
"I don't know that the Seahawks make the playoffs in a bad NFC...they just aren't the same team as a year ago. They paid the wrong guy " 😮
📺 @howaboutafresca and @SwollenDome discuss why the defending Super Bowl Champs are in BIG TROUBLE 👀
The Bears have been terrific. Are they about to be overtaken as the best team in the NFL? Listen here:
"The Broncos are in position to become the BEST TEAM in football over the course of the next month. They have no real problems" 😮
📺 @howaboutafresca and @SwollenDome discuss why the Broncos could be the team to beat in the AFC come playoff time 👀
Will the Seahawks even make the playoffs at this point? Listen here:

The fact the 'new' Lakers have assimilated so fast is incredibly impressive. You'd think there'd be some rough patches but it's been so smooth. Sort of reminds me of when they got Pau Gasol and they went on a run (and to three Finals) right away.
Weird, but this is where we are: If things don't change, the Seahawks will have no choice but to go to Drew Lock at QB for the stretch. It seems like the groundwork has been prepped for that to happen...
BOLD PREDICTION - Gardner Minshew will be the next Geno Smith: After starting early, he backs up around the league awhile before getting a random chance - this time in the right system - and he stays dynamic enough and becomes a long-term full-time starter with the Cardinals.
At this point, I'd be really surprised if the Bears aren't the #1 seed in the NFC in the playoffs. And good luck winning in Chicago in January.
Seahawks have gone from the most dominant team in the NFL the first couple of weeks to at this point I don't think they even make the playoffs.
Lamar Jackson is unfortunately on the Dan Marino path of best QB to have never won a Super Bowl. Both came in and revolutionized the game, but how close to a SB will Jackson be when he comes back?
The old Bears would've wilted at all the Seahawks counter-punches tonight. But the Ben Johnson Bears have answered every one of them to extend the lead. You can believe in this new era in Chicago.
