U are d biggest star in this country. No one comes close. Numbers like 100, 200 or 300 crore don’t suit u anymore, you were delivering those figures organically back in 2015. And beyond the no.s. it’s been yrs since I’ve truly enjoyed watching your film in a theatre.
India and China’s relations are deteriorating once again, and you’re releasing a film that speaks of peace. Yes, the government made things worse by intervening, but Apoorva was never going to deliver something special anyway.
In pure excitement, I even took the blue tick, hoping we would finally get some update on Monster. But nothing has come. Now I don’t even feel like tweeting abt ur appearances or videos, bcz I know Maatrubhumi is on the way, and that thought alone hurts. Nothing feels right anymore.
I know you’ve worked extremely hard for Monster, and I’m confident it will deliver good numbers. But releasing Maatrubhumi before it is only going to damage its potential. I barely get time, yet I still come here just to celebrate you. It’s painful when it feels like the person you look up to isn’t listening.
Why release Maatrubhumi in theatres at all? Even if it becomes a big blockbuster, my feeling will remain the same, I expect better from you. We fans deserve better.
But who am I to tell India’s biggest star what to do? You’ve achieved more than most people can even dream of. So maybe it’s better if I simply go offline and focus on my own life for a while.
