‘YAGA’ directors David Frazee and Rachel Talalay on Hudson Williams’ dedication to the dual roles! (via @EW) “‘We had to leave him in the water for a little while, but him on the slab there, yeah, it’s a full build,’ Frazee tells Entertainment Weekly, while audibly struggling to get through a serious conversation about prosthetics design without laughing. ‘We talked quite a bit about what the ‘chop a cock off’ looked like.’ ‘What a terrific guy, because he can’t go to the bathroom once that baby’s on,’ Frazee notes of fitting Williams with the castration prosthetic. ‘It was entertaining, but not a complaint out of that dude.’’’And then, I wanna say, the next day, [he’s] off to Paris Fashion Week,’ his episodic directing partner Rachel Talalay adds. ‘And then off for like three days, back [for filming] completely jet-lagged, and then on set with a huge dialogue scene. Incredible.’ ‘I don’t know if you know this,’ Frazee points out, ‘but the trauma of having to play a dead body, it’s not pleasant. It really isn’t. And with that goddamn prosthetic on!’” 🔗: ew.com/yaga-hudson-williams-…
