November writers, how’s the word count looking? 👀✍️ Ahead of schedule, right on track, or negotiating with your characters for just 200 more words? No judgment here. 😂 #NovelNovember #AmWriting #WritingCommunity

Take a look at my special dictionary, go on C for Yourself Caruncle The wattle of a bird such as a turkey cock, also the red prominence in the inner corner of one’s eye, third meaning an outer layer of a seed which ants find most charismatic. Catamite A boy kept for homosexual purposes. In an early episode of Blackadder shown at prime time about eight o’clock in the evening when it was reported that the Archbishop of Canterbury had been murdered one of the characters said “his catamite was very upset.” This was either very brave of the BBC about twenty years after Kenneth Tynan caused uproar just by saying fuck, or somebody vetting these things was unfamiliar with the term catamite. Cataract A waterfall that clouds the lens in your eye, best to have it out. If you like King Lear see also Hurricanoes. Catsup No silly, not the awakening of a cat, this is a bloody sauce, derived from a 17th Century fish sauce invented by the Chinese called Ke-chiap. English sailors brought it home and improved it with mushrooms and walnuts and finally tomatoes and called it catsup. Of course the Pilgrim Fathers took it to America with them but by 1710 it had become Ketchup except in a few places in America where they still use the original name catsup, personally I call it tomato sauce. I came across this word in Murder so Heartless by Eileen Curley Hammond featuring Drew March, Rob the photographer and of course Merry March and Desert Storm 1 . Cattleya Blue

Thanks so much, Jenn 🤗 @GeorgeYuhasz @kampungkreepy @SWilkingHoran Why has Jaye’s husband moved in with his young, pregnant mistress? And why is her bestie forcing her into online dating and ridiculous risk taking? amzn.eu/d/08VlMuMi nitter.cf/JayeTroop/status/21166…
Jaye's life is in tatters 😢 Husband: absent. Kids: leaving. No money. And definitely no self-esteem. Enter best friend Didi, who persuades her that partying, online dating and risk taking are the best way forward. What could possibly go wrong? amzn.eu/d/08VlMuMi
