In 2024, I used AI to discover music.
In 2026, I’m discovering music created with AI.
Two years ago, I used artificial intelligence to explore Generation Z’s musical tastes. That journey led me to Måneskin.
Now I’ve spent days listening to AI-generated music. Some of these songs are already stuck in my head.
So I created AI MUSIC ∞, a growing collection of remarkable tracks created with AI.
But that listening experience has led me to questions that reach far beyond my playlist.
Just as AI is changing how we build software, it is lowering the barriers to making music. More people can turn an idea into something others can experience.
The scale is already striking. According to Deezer, tracks detected as fully AI-generated accounted for more than 50% of its new uploads on peak days in June 2026.
Now imagine millions of people creating music with AI.
Who holds the rights to these compositions and recordings, if such rights exist?
Were the artists whose work trained the models compensated?
Who controls distribution, licensing, and royalties?
When creation becomes abundant, provenance, consent, and fair compensation become even more important.
This is where I believe #InternetComputer could play a meaningful role.
Its decentralized infrastructure could support auditable records of contributions and permissions, tools for managing licenses, and transparent revenue sharing under agreed rules. It could also help artists build platforms they control.
Those systems would still need reliable evidence, valid agreements, and ways to resolve disputes.
As AI expands what we can create, we also need to ask who controls the infrastructure through which those creations reach the world — and who benefits.
That question connects music, software, and the wider creative economy.
The music may be artificial.
The emotions are real.
And the rights still matter. ∞

🎶 Music has always been a reflection of generations. That’s why, as a music lover, I embarked on a study with artificial intelligence to explore today’s music and connect with Generation Z. My goal was to understand how they think, how they feel… and most importantly, what they listen to!
In this journey, I combined AI analysis with my own musical tastes. As a fan of legendary bands like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Metallica, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, and Radiohead, among many others, I was intrigued to find something in modern bands that could captivate me in the same way. 🎧
I listened to dozens of artists and, in my first selection, I picked songs from some of those that stood out in my research:
🎵 John Legend
🎵 Michael Kiwanuka
🎵 Hozier
🎵 Lewis Capaldi
🎵 The Weeknd
🎵 Dua Lipa
🎵 Måneskin
🎵 Ghost
🎵 Royal Blood
🎵 Calvin Harris (feat. HAIM)
🎵 Arcade Fire
🎵 Peach Pit
🎵 Dayglow
🎵 Teddy Swims
🎵 Billie Eilish
🎵 girl in red
🎵 Fontaines D.C.
🎵 Tame Impala
🎵 The Black Keys
You can listen to the full playlist here: 🎶

However, after long hours of listening and analysis, one band truly stole my attention and became my top pick: @thisismaneskin ! 🎸🔥
Måneskin is different. Not only because of their bold style and energy on stage, but also because, much like classic bands, they have the power to define a generation. Since discovering them, I’ve been immersed in their discography and even started following them here on X to catch every update.
If you want to listen to the tracks that really captured my attention, check out my playlist here: 🎧

But what does this have to do with technology? 🤔 Music and technology are more connected than we think. #InternetComputer, through the DFINITY Foundation, is already making an impact in Italy thanks to its partnership with FederItaly. This collaboration enables the certification of “100% Made in Italy” products on the ICP blockchain, ensuring authenticity and protecting the tradition and excellence of Italian craftsmanship. 🇮🇹✨
Måneskin, as an Italian band, could benefit immensely from this technological wave. Imagine if you could release your music directly to fans, without intermediaries, on a decentralized platform. With Internet Computer, you could:
🌐 Control your music distribution: Publish albums and exclusive content directly to your audience, without relying on traditional streaming platforms.
🔒 Protect your work: Certify your music as “100% Måneskin” using blockchain, securing your brand identity and authenticity.
🎟️ Engage with fans: Create exclusive experiences, like limited-edition NFTs or decentralized fan clubs, giving listeners a direct way to support your artistry.
On the other hand, Måneskin represents the new wave of music, while #ICP is the new wave of technological revolution. The synergy is undeniable. 🤝
Måneskin, just as you are the voice and spirit of this new generation, Internet Computer is the technology that will provide all the tools necessary for you to develop your talents. Together, music and technology can open paths we never imagined before.
So, Måneskin, when you’re ready to take the next step and decentralize your music, know that #InternetComputer is here to offer you a secure, free, and truly decentralized platform. The musical and technological revolution go hand in hand!
Let’s make some noise! 🔊🚀 And now, I want to hear from you! 🎤 Which bands do you think are defining Generation Z? #Måneskin #Music #Blockchain #InternetComputer #MadeInItaly

Internet Computer (ICP) averaged 699,000 transactions per validator over 24 hours, compared with just two on Ethereum, according to Internet Computer Today. Meanwhile, ICP is trading near $2.583 after bouncing from rising support, but descending resistance continues to limit its recovery.
Analyst Giannis Andreou identifies $2.65–$2.70 as the key breakout zone. A successful move above it could open the way toward $2.80–$2.85, while losing $2.50 may expose $2.40–$2.45. 📈🚀

🚨WOW: $ICP processed an astonishing 349,500 TIMES more transactions per validator than Ethereum over the past 24 hours, showing it's INCREDIBLE blockchain efficiency!
According to @chainspect_app, $ICP averaged 699,000 transactions per validator in 24 hours, compared with just TWO for Ethereum!
And it's not just ICP making waves!
$XLM ranked 6th and $HBAR 10th across blockchains tracked.
The infrastructure behind crypto is evolving FAST!
First, they came for our food.
Then, they reached the systems protecting our blood supply.
The next frontier of cybersecurity isn't just about protecting data.
It's about protecting the physical world from those who can control it through software.
And in the age of AI, that question becomes more urgent than ever.

🤖 Made with AI
Three weeks ago, I raised a question. Today, seven European countries are confronting it.
On October 14, following the cyberattacks on French supermarkets, I wrote:
“When software controls the physical world, who controls the software?”
At the time, at least 350 French supermarkets had been affected.
On November 2, the same pattern of attacks emerged across Europe.
🇧🇪 Belgium
🇸🇪 Sweden
🇮🇪 Ireland
🇳🇱 Netherlands
🇱🇺 Luxembourg
🇪🇪 Estonia
🇫🇮 Finland
More than 100 supermarkets reported disruptions to their refrigeration systems. In some cases, temperature settings reached 50°C, resulting in spoiled food and serious operational disruptions.
Different countries. Different supermarket chains. The same fundamental vulnerability.
We still don't know whether the same attackers were responsible.
But we know something else.
A compromised digital control system can have consequences far beyond the screen.
Food supply chains. Hospitals. Energy networks. Industrial infrastructure.
And soon, increasingly autonomous AI systems capable of operating directly in the physical world.
That is why the question I originally raised matters even more today.
Who controls the software?
Who authorizes its instructions?
And who can stop those instructions when something goes wrong?
Internet Computer (ICP) offers a promising architectural direction: verifiable execution, programmable governance, and applications that do not depend on a single operator.
It is not a magical shield against cyberattacks. Nor is it a replacement for physical safety mechanisms.
But it could become part of a future in which critical decisions can be independently verified and executed within clearly defined boundaries.
October was a warning from France.
November is a warning from Europe.
The next chapter of cybersecurity will no longer be just about protecting information.
It will be about protecting the physical world from compromised instructions.
And as artificial intelligence gains the ability to operate machines, that distinction becomes an existential question.
We don't just need smarter systems.
We need systems whose authority can be verified.
That is why I keep looking beyond the token.

Crypto exchanges keep getting hacked. ICP wants to change the security model.
DFINITY's Dominic Williams is pitching Chain-Key custody, where private-key signing is distributed across nodes instead of relying on a single vulnerable machine.
The technology already powers ckBTC.
No exchange adoption confirmed yet, but $ICP could have a serious opportunity in institutional custody.
Security is becoming a billion-dollar problem worth solving.

Dfinity Founder wants Exchanges to use ICP...
@Dfinity Founder Dominic Williams (@dominic_w) is unhappy about the current attacks on exchanges.
$ICP is trying to provide a tamper-proof custody service for institutions using its threshold cryptography technology built on the Internet Computer.
According to Williams, Dfinity's Chain-Key design has no single points of failure.
Instead of a private key system, it uses a decentralized signing mechanism via autonomous network canisters triggered only by approved approval chains.
This message is clearly directed at exchanges.

DFINITY announces full Ledger hardware wallet support now live in the NNS governance app for Internet Computer (ICP), allowing users to view accounts, send, and stake ICP while approving transactions directly on the device.
Integration requires enabling the Ledger in Settings then adding the device, providing enhanced security by keeping private keys offline during governance and token operations.
The update builds on a detailed thread from DFINITY engineer Yusef Habib, with early user reactions noting successful rollout alongside minor reports of connection issues and questions on expanded canister management capabilities.

🚨Internet Computer has sustained over 5,000 TRANSACTIONS PER SECOND for FIVE consecutive days!
According to @ChainspectApp, $ICP is currently processing an incredible 5,298 transactions every SECOND!
Sustaining this level of activity for days highlights the enormous throughput capabilities of the Internet Computer network.
Congratulations to Democrats on their congressional victory. 🇺🇸
On September 16, @OccupyDemocrats recognized the potential of #InternetComputer.
Today, I believe that conversation deserves to go much further.
In 2009, Peter Thiel wrote:
“I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible.”
Seventeen years later, AI is making a fundamental question impossible to ignore:
Who should control the computing infrastructure on which our societies increasingly depend?
The American Computer?
The Chinese Computer?
Or a World Computer governed through an open protocol?
#ICP offers a different architectural model: applications running entirely on-chain, distributed infrastructure, and protocol governance through the NNS.
Not a replacement for democratic institutions.
An alternative to concentrating digital infrastructure under a single corporate authority.
This is why the #CLARITYAct debate matters.
Regulation should protect citizens, recognize genuine decentralization, and enable innovation without granting special privileges.
Because the future of computing should not be determined solely by who controls Washington, Beijing, or Silicon Valley.
The question of the AI era isn't just who owns the data.
It's who controls the computer.
From the American Computer to the World Computer. ∞
Digital sovereignty belongs to everyone.

Replying to @dominic_w
Dom, you are brilliant. #ICP is exactly what the world needs — the world’s first true web3 that is infinitely safer than the web2 that the world currently uses.
If this market valued speed, we wouldn’t be able to accumulate this much #ICP at these prices.
Spoiler: The world will need speed when we need to use blockchain. Accumulate wisely. #InternetComputer
