This is a solid playlist
Been curating a playlist of Ghanaian artistes who've carved out their own sounds for a while now. From Indie, Folk, Soul, Psychedelica, Electro, Hip-hop and other alte genres. I believe these guys are going to be some of the biggest voices in the world. open.spotify.com/playlist/46…

Highlife, hiplife. All the Azonto and afropop music should be classified under hiplife but nah, we prefer to copy. Sankofa is the way.

I think the TL needs a 30-year-and-above picture thread… Ladies and gentlemen, Shall we?

Fines are supposed to make you feel discomfort, so the deterrence will be a lasting one.
Someone was charged GH¢480 for driving at 80km/h. If you ask me, I think these fines are quite ridiculous. As much as I find the amounts excessive, I believe they will help keep road users in check. However, we cannot keep paying these fines while we still have so many faulty traffic lights and poorly functioning streetlights across the country. Hopefully, the money collected from these fines will be put to proper use.

This would have been a great springboard; it worked for a while then we all went to sleep hoping that the momentum would sustain itself.
Today, you say Traffitech is scaring you. Did you watch Obour’s road campaign music video ? Scared the hell out of me 😩

We used to have boating events on the Korle Lagoon. That is how low we have sunk. The Odaw river was pristine.
Our leaders are destroying the country😭😭😭

As I read through Ghana’s education laws, I am forced to ask: do those who make and implement these laws ever actually read them? How is it possible that our statutes guarantee every child the right to favourable classrooms for learning, while many schools remain dilapidated?

Abeg how many protests has the opposition successfully carried out ever since this government that’s purported to be against free speech and the right to personal liberty came into office? How many police injunctions were secured against protests in the last two years?

Over here guys #StopGalamseyNow
Finally excited to share this. For the past 2-3 months I've been building this Galamsey Tracker. A free site that uses satellite data to show, every week, where land is being cleared in Ghana's southern gold belt, and if there's a licence to mine there. galamseytracker.org

Someone said it’s those without cars who are heavily supporting Traffitech implementation. Of course, who better support an initiative that will keep drivers in check than we the primary victims of overspeeding?
Commercial drivers share mixed views on the newly implemented TRAFFITECH-GH system, arguing that its implementation was rushed and could affect their earnings, as they overspeed to outpace competitors and meet their daily income targets, while others question its suitability for Ghana’s road conditions compared to those abroad, among other concerns.

Yesterday Rev. Chris Tsui Hesse the Ghanaian cinematographer who worked as the official videographer for Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah had no image on his Wikipedia page. After seeing him at the screening I managed to take a photo of him and add it to his page. #TheEyesOfGhana
