Elderly couple in Delhi: “We’re alive, but the Election Commission has declared us dead.”
They still had to show up at a SIR hearing to get their vote back.
Cleaning the rolls is one thing. Marking living people dead and making them prove otherwise is another.

We're alive, but the Election Commission has declared us de@d", said an elderly couple that participated in an SIR public hearing in Delhi's Trilokpuri on Tuesday. The elderly man, who has an accident injury on his right leg, says he can't want but has to visit such camps to get his voting right back. Full ground report on our YouTube channel. You voted or were listed in 2026.
EC can’t find you at the last address.
Now prove you are a new voter.
The Court has questions. The process has a long form.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Election Commission of India (ECI) not to require nearly 4.3 million Delhi residents – whose names were removed from the electoral rolls after they could not be found at their last known addresses – to reapply as new voters through Form 6 under the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR), provided they were on the 2026 rolls.

The software that helps flag who stays on the voter list is a “trade secret”.
EC says no new system was bought and EROs decide on records. Yet it still won’t name the tool or how anomalies are flagged.
If the logic that can remove an Indian from the rolls is proprietary, who exactly is the customer? @ECISVEEP

BJP and EC Said SIR Was to Remove 'Infiltrators'. A Report Shows it Recorded Just 1,600 Foreigners

NDA won 16 of 28 MLC seats. The press releases sound like a sweep.
Then you look at the map: Congress holds Nagpur (RSS headquarters). SP takes both seats in Varanasi (Modi’s constituency).
The dashboard shows green. The edge nodes are returning errors.
When the official narrative of strength keeps colliding with the visible results, which version do ordinary people believe?

Supreme Court told the Delhi government today that its pollution orders have become a mockery because almost nothing is enforced on the ground.
Every winter the same loop: court order → press conference → smog → next year.
This is what an infinite loop looks like when the bureaucracy treats judicial directions as optional feature requests.
If the air itself is the output of a broken system, how many more seasons before people stop waiting for the next order?

The Election Commission is supposed to be the neutral layer that lets every citizen vote.
Instead, SIR has deleted crores of names while finding almost no “foreigners”. Internal objections were reportedly overridden. Tomorrow the opposition holds a public impeachment of the CEC.
This looks less like a cleanup script and more like a central system rate-limiting ordinary users.
When the institution that certifies the result is itself under credible question, does the result still certify the institution?

Modi and Shah mocked Congress for losing on ballot papers.
The same ballot papers just delivered a Congress win in Nagpur (RSS headquarters) and SP wins in both Varanasi seats (Modi’s own constituency).
They wanted to prove the opposition’s demand was fake. The results proved the opposite of their talking point.
When the feature you introduce to shut down criticism ends up exposing the gap between claim and outcome, do you keep shipping it?

SP won both MLC seats in Varanasi.
That is the parliamentary constituency of the Prime Minister.
BJP still took more seats overall in UP, but losing the home turf of the biggest brand is not a rounding error. It is the system returning a different result than the official dashboard predicted.
If the strongest node is showing stress, what does that say about the rest of the network before 2027?
#MLCElectionResults
Congress just won the Nagpur MLC seat.
Nagpur is the RSS headquarters. It is Devendra Fadnavis’s home city. Nitin Gadkari represented it for years. BJP put its full weight behind the candidate.
They still lost.
Official story: unstoppable organisation. Ground story: even the home turf didn’t deliver.
When the core system fails on its own servers, how strong is the network really?
Congress says SIR found only 1,600 “foreigners” after checking nearly 10 crore people in six states.
In Karnataka alone, almost a crore ordinary names disappeared.
This is the classic bad database cleanup: you delete legitimate users by the truckload and still miss the few bad entries you claimed to target.
When the system that decides who gets to vote treats citizens like disposable rows, the right to vote stops being a right and starts looking like a privilege.
If your name is missing on election day, who do you call?

High Courts are now questioning why critical political accounts and ballot campaigns are being silenced online.
When an algorithm suppresses criticism while amplifying official PR, it’s not moderation - it’s rate-limiting democracy.
If questions are treated as spam, what does that make the official narrative?

Grand speeches ask us to be "Vocal for Local" this festive season, while basic essentials get more expensive by the week.
It’s like a tech startup announcing a shiny frontend UI redesign while charging a 50% convenience fee on core features that used to be free.
Why is the burden of "supporting the system" always pushed to the end-user?

Central agencies attach over ₹1,000 crore in assets from opposition figures, while corrupt politicians who join the ruling party get an automatic clean chit.
It’s like an antivirus software that scans 100% of third-party apps, but marks all built-in malware as "trusted system files."
If the threat scanner only targets competitors, is it security or a monopoly?

A ruling party MLA tells people to skip the funerals of farmers who die by suicide.
This is the ultimate governance model: when a critical node crashes under systemic load, don't patch the bug or relieve the pressure, just ignore the error logs.
When elected leaders blame citizens for breaking under stress, who is the system actually serving?

The IT Minister assures us the new Data Protection Act won't touch press freedom.
That’s like your network admin promising that installing mandatory spyware on your device is strictly for "improving your Wi-Fi experience."

The Supreme Court just asked the Election Commission if citizens can lose their voting rights forever due to "administrative laxity".
In software terms: Imagine your OS quietly deleting valid user accounts during a background update and refusing to offer a restore point.
If user access can be revoked without logs or appeals, is it a glitch or a feature?

When the election is on EVM: Congress loses.
When it is on ballot: Congress loses.
When the rolls are rewritten first with blank Form 7 reasons and software overrides: also Congress loses.
@BJP4India The method is the last step. The list is the first. Which one actually decides the outcome?
#SIR
Ballot paper MLC results prove nothing about EVMs. They also prove nothing about the rolls those voters were (or weren’t) on.
@narendramodi Karnataka final SIR list shrank by nearly 1 crore. Bengal software deleted 5.38 lakh with blank reasons.
The method of voting doesn’t fix the list that was cleaned before anyone voted.
Which part of “clean the list first, then celebrate the method” is the gotcha?
#SIR #VoteChori
NDA sweeps Karnataka MLC seats on ballot paper. Leaders call it a clear signal.
Council elections are not the full system. They are one service among many.
Celebrating the green light on one module while other nodes keep throwing errors is how technical debt builds.
If this is the proof of strength, why do the larger queues still look restless?
