Boosting this great opportunity to volunteer protecting pathways to citizenship from our partners at @weareoneamerica ! Language specific flyers for communities and service providers in the thread below ⬇️
Today, OIRA held our first convening of public funder and providers of immigrant-related services during a time where critical, rapid, and creative assistance is needed for immigrant and refugee communities in our city and state.
We are deeply grateful to every service provider who offered their expertise and experiences with the traumatic federal immigration environment, our hope is that this convening ignited a deeper sense of community, conviction and alignment on standing with immigrants today.
We couldn't have done it without the insights of our lovely panelists Sarah Peterson from the WA ORIA @waDSHS, Cary Retlin and Avan Shwany from the @WAStateCommerce and Sara Robbins from WA Office of Civil Legal Aid. Stay tuned for more from OIRA this week!
