Painted up this Red Dragon Wyrmling. I've done this one a few times, though this one is probably my least favorite to paint. How this one is posed makes it a bit difficult to paint inside the curve of the neck.

Painted this Blue Dragon Wyrmling and their treasure hoard. Might be my favorite of the chromatic wyrmlings to paint. youtu.be/lySsuLFfzd0

Finally expanded the museum into a new group of animals. Got this pterosaur tooth from @minimuseumshop. A fantastic specimen for sure!

Gonna immediately follow up on a tweet I just made. I was too young to grow up with Bakker's dynamic paleoart. I DID, however, grow up with some of Steve White's paleoart (Brian Williamson did digital coloring here). They more than delivered on the action.

What a special moment. Today we released two beautiful sea turtles back to the wild after undergoing months of rehabilitation. Our sea turtle recovery centre provides life-saving care and is an integral part of our wildlife hospital. These two lucky turtles now have a second chance at life.

Artist Spolight - John Gurche. This is one of my favorite pieces ever. Everything about this is pure perfection. The colors, the composition, the atmosphere, the masterfully camouflaged tyrannosaurus.

You telling me an ad of all places is able to show a fight between a T. Rex and a Torosaurus and not in the actual show?

The idea of losing America's oldest natural history museum and its valuable specimens, including the holotype of the first dinosaur ever found in the US, is mortifying. Public knowledge of our world and its past is the right of present and future generations! #SaveTheAcademy

A dinosaur horror trope I'd like to see subverted is that we humans, operating mostly on sight and sound, assume you can just hide from a dinosaur if you're quiet and not in its line of sight, when in actuality they'd just immediately pinpoint you with their great sense of smell.

Hadrosaurus foulki is one of the first dinosaurs discovered in the U.S. and first mounted dinosaur skeleton ever displayed. The only known holotype/remains reside at the Academy of Natural Sciences, leaving their fate uncertain with the announcement of the academy’s closure.
