A first peek at something new we're working on. What if programs spoke *our* language?

Agree with this. Who's working on unlocking it now with GPT-4?

This correctly identifies several trillion dollars of latent wealth creation capacity over the next several years if it is unlocked.

The fundamental skill needed in a world with ai assistance is being able to accurately describe a model of what you want. It’s unlikely that’ll just happen through text though. We need tools that help us express intent across many domains and representations.

With the renaissance in generative models, my essay about how we could create the next computer revolution by teaching people to externalize mental models of the world might just come true! chris-granger.com/2015/01/26…

We also need those tools to work across levels of abstraction. “Let’s try going with a warmer palette” vs give me a color picker to dial in my red. If the tools exactness matches my intent it’s great. But it’s ridiculous to…

QSBS is an important law that helps small businesses create new jobs. The BBB bill that the House passed has essentially eliminated it. We’ve reached out to the U.S. Senate to try and preserve it. Can you help?

Y’all don’t even know that Chris and his team are building the most absurdly next level thought processor / end-user programmable MACHINE of a software tool. When they launch they’re gonna leapfrog ahead of the competition by 3-5 years at least. Can’t wait to see more.
Let's say you've built a fully decentralized, local-first, multiplayer, end-to-end encrypted Notion/Roam that is also completely reprogrammable (you can change/add anything). How would you build a business around it? For the web3 folks, how could tokens play a part?

haha we've actually talked about something like that. I like the free-to-play model that games have moved towards and would love to be able to give everything away if there's a real way to make continued work on it sustainable.

I feel like it would be useful for programmers, as a field, to acknowledge that humans are bad at programming. This is because techniques for improving at things you're bad at are different from techniques for improving at things you're good at.

We've been thinking about how to present being able to really converse with a system and we keep coming to "what if notion was fast, handled/connected to any size of data, and by just writing some english you could turn it into anything?" A universe of data with no limits.
Folks who use notion, roam, coda, etc - what are your biggest problems with them? What’s your wishlist?

Talk about anything with anyone and have a system that is an active participant in molding all of that information into docs, processes, automations, even apps and products. How cool would it be to have the design doc _be_ the working prototype?
