i truly don’t think the men who have given me some of my darkest days have any recollection of them/would understand the severity of their actions enough to even think of it as a “skeleton” in their closet

I’m beginning to understand that many of you use the word “cancelled” to index the much more complex social process we used to call “falling out of favor”

Like yeah no one can just abstain from the patriarchy as a whole but there are certain aspects of it (such as this) that absolutely no one is beholden to. You can simply just say no thanks. You literally can just say nope I’m not doing that! I wish more women would.

Ever since I was a little kid the concept of taking a man’s (or anyone’s) last name has been so repugnant to me I cannot believe people actually do it and do it without any hesitation

Every tech CEO for the last 30 years: College is useless. drop out of college and build something. Find a trade.
Also every tech CEO: *only hires from Stanford/MIT/Harvard*
Also every tech CEO: *spends millions getting their mid kids into Stanford/MIT/Harvard*
BREAKING: Chris Power CEO of Hadrian says “Everyone should tell their kids to quit college & get welding degrees”
"The country needs you."
“The next 2 decades is blue collar.”
Hadrian is also bringing back Pepperidge Farms & baking.
“All the white-collar jobs are going to get automated.”
“We’re gonna see massive hyperinflation in blue-collar salaries.”
"I think one of the greatest opportunities for private capital — apart from public-private investment alongside the Department of War (@DeptofWar) — is to build Chick-fil-A’s & bars around all of our factories.
That’s free alpha. Please come set up franchises around all of our factories. We need to eat so we can work harder for the country."

Whenever I would visit the DC Washington Post office, I realized that the only people who thought this were the folks who are never around Black people, because you can not see a critical mass of black people in DC and think this.

The issue is women keep having this revelation but won't accept it, and instead kill the messenger (feminists) which is the entire motive behind 3rd wave feminism. Pretend bad things are good things because it's hopeless otherwise.

I'm not sure how many more times we need to see/hear about violent men calling women "bitch" as they assault & even murder them before we accept that misogynistic slurs aren't neutral.

Those who think women are cruel about men's appearance should take a good look at this post and its comments. While men say things like "nobody will rape you" about women's appearance it's impossible for women to even come close to that level of cruelty

Yeah, we’re not doing this. So I’m just gonna say that for the record as an AA woman.. that crap is rapey, misogynistic, and violent ash.
Same goes for “bang”, “smash”, “nail”, “pipe”, etc.

I think it’s so important to build a core of self-esteem independent from your appearance and how attractive other people think you are because I’m seeing firsthand the crisis of insecurity that arises when you don’t.

“AI isn’t going away.” “We need guns no matter how many shootings there are.” “Covid is here to stay.” None of you want better, do you? Do you realize none of this has to happen? All of this is preventable. We can all demand better and do better. None of this is inevitable.

When you exhale, you create positive pressure inside the sealed chamber between your mask and face. This higher-pressure air will actively seek and escape through any available gaps or imperfect seals (like around the nose bridge or cheeks), causing noticeable leakage.
But when you inhale, it is different. You create negative pressure (a partial vacuum) inside that same chamber. The higher outside atmospheric pressure then pushes the mask's sealing edges tightly against your face, actually improving the seal and minimizing leakage.
Therefore, it’s important to note that a video showing leakage during exhalation does not necessarily mean the mask will leak during inhalation. The physics at work in each phase are fundamentally different.

also very interesting how today it’s “evil women expecting their male instacart slaves to deliver groceries” but no one was on the side of the female DoorDash driver who was flashed by the customer
