Doing the same in my apps. Whoever runs it types what they want, an agent builds it. What keeps it from turning to mush is two gates: • Request comes in, agent writes a short PRD • Whoever asked reads it and approves before any code gets written • Agent builds it • I make the final call. Deploy is one button. The people running it steer, the agent builds, I own what ships. Great way to start lean too. Ship the idea, let the people using it ask for the rest.
I'm now building an "improvements" feature into all of my personal vibecoded applications: a freeform text input that's hooked up to an agent that yolo implements whatever is submitted. It's an interesting experience -- the activation energy barrier to sanding any rough edge or implementing any new feature becomes extremely low. Someone else who uses one of the applications I created has already implemented 150 improvements over the course of a few days. This pattern feels like a new kind of tool -- liquid software? -- and every application that doesn't have this feature now has a slightly rigid and anachronistic flavor. Why can't I just tell it how I want it to be different? Now, it's not obvious to me how this pattern can or should scale. Does it become unmaintainable after a while? (Maybe model intelligence improvement outstrips my feature appetite such that it's fine?) How does collaborative software work in this model? Can software designed this way be secure and reliable? Whatever the larger questions about broader deployment, it definitely works great in a personal context. It reminds me a little of the visions of Lisp/Lisp machines, Smalltalk, and HyperCard -- systems that the user can take control of and modify. Those visions never quite worked, though: the vast majority of software today is not end-user modifiable in any useful way. So, while this "liquid" affordance is a very small touch, the way it changes one's relation to the software feels a bit transgressive and empowering in a Lickliderian and Engelbartian way.

I'm genuinely impressed by Atlassian and Salesforce's ability to thrive despite their clunky, and frustrating UX. It raises an interesting question: how much does good UI/UX actually matter in B2B software?

Made the Totally Spies compowder as an isometric exploded view animation started with Anatomy, animated it with Lottie Creator WebMCP, tokenised it and then added themes so I can change the colors with just a click @LottieFiles @OpenAI

AI is a tool. You can use it to think for you. Or you can use it to learn and try things you wouldn't have attempted before. I tell everyone at Figma: we hired you because you can think. We expect you to think. Don't outsource your thinking to AI. Social media is not reality. Things are never as good or bad as they seem. Seeing things as they are and seeking truth are skills to develop. Curiosity must be cultivated. Pulling the level of a slop/slot machine can be weirdly exhausting and depleting. It can be hard and even anxiety inducing to step away when things are moving so fast, but time away from the computer is a must right now.
Replying to @zoink
@zoink how do you keep your independent thinking in this tsunami of tech-bro-ai gloom and doom?

as a mediocre Go engineer, I feel qualified to weigh in. wrote the lavafoshi.mv API in Go 9 years ago. it’s still running. barely think about it. no stupid issue every 5 minutes. beautiful enough for me.
Sorry G, but calling Go “beautifully designed” is a immediate unfollow for me. We just have too different of perspectives on what that means. Math is beautiful. Go’s error handling is the least mathy thing ever in programming.

Tried creating a Motion Reel for Claude with Opus 5.5 and built it with Lottie Creator MCP. So what you get is a fully editable Lottie made of vectors. One-shot prompts are pretty good with Opus 5.5 and with a little tweak and design magic, it's ready to ship! @LottieFiles

I’ve been loving what people have been sharing of top down games that they been making so I thought of making one myself. And here it is. Ride a speedboat in beautiful locations including the Maldives, either free roam or competing on timings. Supports both web and mobile. And it works wonderfully on mobile as well. Just drag your fingers to move the boat. Check it out here: games.tinyappstudio.io/speed…

Working is becoming hell too. Everyone’s Claude is summarising and reading documents generated by someone else’s Claude. AI slop in, AI slop out.
Welcome to the new world
