team1 latam is onboarding devs ahead of the november hackathons
next session is all contracts: contracts calling contracts, design and security patterns, erc-20 and erc-721
best time to get your first contract right is before the hackathon starts

Reminder: Join us tonight at 10 PM UTC+7 on @AvaxTeam1 Discord!
Team1 Vietnam welcomes Vietnamese builders building on Avalanche. We're here to support you all the way.
Build on Avalanche. Build with Team1 Vietnam. 🔺
Trustless is joining @ProtocolCamp Cohort 10 with @AvaxTeam1.
Selected from over 100 teams, Trustless is one of 11 projects joining this cohort.
Trustless builds cross-chain infrastructure that enables blockchains to transfer messages and assets through cryptographic proofs, without relying on trusted third parties.
Trustless is working to extend Avalanche Interchain Messaging beyond the Avalanche ecosystem, while developing connectivity infrastructure for institutional use cases.
Welcome to the cohort, @trustless_link 🔺
I found a project that can single-handedly 10x zcash utility as a blockchain: unpair.xyz
swap from anywhere to anywhere via the zcash shielded pool, anonymizing any transaction
first team1 event in ukraine happened in lviv this weekend
one evening, ukrainian builders and creators in the same room
this is how it starts everywhere

Team1 Lviv Connect, the first-ever @AvaxTeam1 event in Ukraine 🇺🇦
One evening in Lviv with Ukrainian builders, creators and the people growing the @avax ecosystem here.
Glad to be there from day one. See you at the next one 🔺

this may seem bad, but we don't need apps to show they're using blockchain
like, actually, not even a mention in the website
we forget that the community is still a group of people who are 'tech-aware' and move based on the culture
as a community member, you WANT to know which blockchain is on because you identify with it (or not)
but for the REAL end user, there's no tech-aware culture, it's not about the vibes of the tech
it's about the vibes of the culture the product creates
blockchain culture is a byproduct of network effects that work to align people on buying a specific coin, like a religion
but that is not needed for end user traction - that's just about performance, usability, ease of use
evalanche 1.17.0 is out on npm
first release since 1.14. 1.15, 1.16 and the rcs never shipped to npm, so this one carries all of it
the big one: your agent can sign without holding a private key
github.com/iJaack/evalanche/…
unknown selectors are denied. permit, permit2 and increaseAllowance are blocked on the generic signing path. swaps are checked leg by leg, receiver and min output enforced
solana: offline groundwork only, no solana signing yet
breaking: fantom (250) and zksync era (324) are out, sonic (146) and hyperevm (999) are in. configs that name 250 or 324 need to change
114 mcp tools, 1,969 tests passing, tarball under 1 mb
npm install [email protected]
team1 türkiye ran its first hackathon: 60+ devs, 16 hours, 30 projects, 11 finalists
ai agents on avalanche, built with okx tr's agent trade kit
first one is the hardest to organize. good start

Team1 Turkiye x OKX TR Agentic Hackathon 🇹🇷
60+ developers. 16 hours. 30 projects. 11 finalists.
At @Team1TUR’s first hackathon, developers used @OKXTurkiye’s Agent Trade Kit to build AI agents on Avalanche 🔺
favorite builder thing from the weekend: someone tracked erc-4337 account abstraction on c-chain and built a site that explains it
actors, versions, money flows, evidence
this is the kind of public good i want more of

341 L1s on avalanche. 10 of them launched in the last 30 days
nitter.cf/CodeNekt_Eco/status/21…
341 L1s are live on Avalanche mainnet today. 10 of them launched in the last 30 days.
That number tells you almost nothing on its own.
An L1 costs about 1.3 AVAX per month per validator to keep running. A validator set of one is legal. So "we launched a chain" can describe a real production network or an experiment nobody ever wrote to.
Four checks separate the two.
Can a wallet you do not control read the state without asking permission. If every read is proxied through your own API, the chain is decoration.
Who holds the upgrade keys. If the threshold is a single owner address, one person can rewrite the rules of the network overnight.
What does a write cost. Zero cost writes on a private endpoint mean there is no consensus being paid for.
How old is the validator set. A set that rotates weekly has no operational history to show.
An ecosystem is measured in chains that still run validators 12 months after launch, with state anyone can verify. Not in launch announcements.
Numbers from the @avax Glacier API this morning. 341 L1s, 10 new in 30 days.
Which of those four checks do most projects fail first.

progmat moved its digital securities to avalanche without rebuilding what was already running on them
that's the institutional lane doing its job
the part i'd steal as a builder: plan the migration path as seriously as the launch
